Annies POV
It's Friday and I'm standing at my locker getting my stuff getting ready to go home when I feel someone turn me around and kiss my forehead. I see Hayden.
Annie: Hayden what the hell?
I looked around to see if anyone was watching.
Hayden: What? Am I not allowed to kiss You?
Annie: listen we had our moment, yes it was special but that's it Hayden
There a nothing here.
A hurt and confused look spread across his face.
Hayden: oh alright I see how it is. You just fuck guys and don't want anything else out of it.
Annie: no Hayden you know that's not true.
Hayden: save it Annie.
Hayden walked away and i stood there stunned.
Me and Caleb always meet at his cat and today apparently Johnny and Hayden are here. Hayden in the backseat where I sit too while Johnny is in the front seat.
I saw him when I opened the car door.
Annie: ugh are you kidding me?
Caleb: what's the problem?
Hayden turned towards the window not facing me.
Annie: nothing everything is perfectly fine.
Hayden scoffed and Caleb looked at him weird through the mirror.
Caleb: Hayden where were you at practice yesterday?
Hayden:babysitting my little sister.
Johnny: nah we checked your house and your parents said you left an hour before that. Caleb he was obviously banging some girl. When else does he ever miss practice?
Hayden kept looking out the window and I just sat there. Caleb smirked at Hayden.
Caleb: oh c'mon Hayden who was the lucky girl.
Hayden: it doesnt matter she's dead to me.
A ping of hurt hit me but I shook it off.
Caleb glanced over to me in the mirror and I looked away.
We arrived home and I went straight to my room.
After about an hour I went downstairs and they were still grilling Hayden with questions about this mystery girl.
After a little bit the boys all left and it was just me and Caleb.
Caleb: how was your day sis
Annie: it was fine.
Caleb: what's wrong, you know I'm here for you right.
Annie: Caleb I made a mistake.
Caleb waited for me to say more.
Annie: I... I had sex with Hayden.
Caleb eyes widened.
Caleb: you what? Wait so your the reason he missed football practice? Annie what the hell?
Annie: Caleb I don't know why I did it. After school in the halls he kissed me an do told him there was nothing here and that it was a one time thing. I feel bad and I don't know why I did it.
Caleb: Annie breathe okay, calm down. Everything is okay.
Annie: Caleb he hates me.
Caleb: you don't need him don't worry.
