"Uhhh... my head." I said as I get up from the bed. I look around my environment to find
Out where I am but I get nothing so definitely I am in a stranger's house. Wait, was it

those men?, did they take me to their house?, did they rape me?, have I lost my

virginity? . Questions kept on popping into my head that I didn't notice the man behind

me.

" You seem okay now. "He said as I turn around. Men, I knew that he is attractive when I
saw him in the cafe but now I see him up close he puts the word attractive and

handsome to shame with his mixture of  grey and blue eyes and those plump pink lips

and..no what am I doing?

" Here, Your medicine. It will stop the banging in your head." He said with the

expression of a poker face.

I step back not knowing what to do, I wouldn't take medicine from a stranger now,

would I?

"Sorry, but I do not know you to well to accept anything from you., please don't be

offended, Sir." I say as I look at the ground.

"You ....don't know me?"

" No, sorry I dont, Sir. Apart from the time at the cafe that is."

"How long have you been in this state?"

" For like three years, why, Sir?" I ask as I tilt my head to the right. He looked at me for

sometime before he finally answered me.

"Just curious. My name  is Chris Adams. "

"My name is Diana Roberts. And thank you for helping me last night, I am really

grateful. You would have gone if you wanted to ,but you helped me. So ,thank you, Sir."

"You are welcome." I noticed that he has an unfamiliar accent. And it cant be Spanish

because I know how to speak some words in Spanish and that is definitely not their

accent.

"I should be on my way now, so could you please show me the way out of......."I was

saying before he interrupted me.

"You are not going anywhere. "

"Sorry but, what?"

" You heard me correctly. "

" And  why is that, Sir?"

"Its because your life is in danger. Those men that attacked you last night were Jacob's

men, the worst gang in this city. And since they tried to rape you without their masks on
,when they find you again, they will have to kill you. So you can't leave." I sat down on

the bed already feeling weak, why do these things always happen to me? Anyway, I did

enjoy 3 years without death threats. I stood up from the bed after regaining my strength.
" So, I can't go to work too, Sir?" I ask , noticing that he moved closer when I sat down.

"You can but only for sometime that is until jacob's men find you."

" Okay. But Sir, I don't want to be a burden to you. So, can't I just stay somewhere else?"

" Dont worry you won't be a burden to me. And no."

" But why?"

" No one knows  jacob like I do." With that he left the room .  Why did he say it so ......
