The Hidden Stark

Chapter 4

Third Person Point of View.

Percy was getting some rest while the rest of the Avengers started to make themselves comfortable at the Tower. Natasha had started working on the computers to help locate Tony along with Rhodhey, most of them were wondering how Percy was related to Tony. They pushed that thought away from their mind until they can get some answers from Percy.

~After a few hours~

They were all scattered in various places in the room, from being in the kitchen to the living room. They busying themselves with something, some of them were sitting next to each other and talking in hushed tones this all paused as Percy shuffled into the living room rubbing his eyes a little bit.

Everyone tracked his movements as he strolled into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water and drank it." Percy, did you well " asked F.R.I.D.A.Y after Percy had finished drinking the water. " Yeah, I slept well. Thanks for asking F.R.I".

Percy knew he was being observed by everyone in the room but disregarded it and went back to the computer to resume searching.

There was a period of silence, as the Avengers didn't how to break the question to Percy. It was Bucky who broke the silence by asking " How are you related to Tony ". Percy paused typing on the computer and turned around and glared at Bucky responded " Why should I answer your question when you're the people who injured Tony the most " at this reply most of the Avengers were stunned didn't expect that to happen.

Steve knew this response was aimed at him and Bucky, he felt ashamed at what he did to Tony in Siberia. The Avengers felt guilty as they weren't there to support a teammate and friend during the time he needed them the most.

"Did you know Tony returned here after the incident in Siberia.." started Percy while holding back his tears and continued "...he returned injured heavily and would I have died if I weren't present in the Tower that day " Percy's voice broke at died as he remembered Tony's state and he almost died.

" I was only there by luck, as I heard about the Accords in the news and wanted to find out how Tony's was holding up " Percy admitted.

Steve's team was filled with shame and guilt mostly Steve and Bucky thinking how they almost killed Tony.

" I don't know how to trust all of you when all have abandoned Tony in some form. How do I know you won't stab him in the back again" questioned Percy.

" When Tony first told me about the Avengers program. I was happy because I thought in a way that Tony was obtaining another family besides me and my mom, look how it turned out.

" Stark started this with the Accords and separated the Avengers while forcing them to choose sides" argued Wanda in anger.

" Tony was hurting and filled with grief when Ross proposed the accords, Tony wasn't thinking suitably. Tony didn't force the Avengers to separate they made their own choices also, the fact none of you notice he was hurting and didn't help him when need you all" snapped Percy with his eyes glowing. He took a minute to calm down and " I won't hold a grudge against everyone but if one of you hurts him again. I will show you all how dangerous I can be" threatened Percy with a cold smile and glare which made everyone flinch even Fury and Coulson.

Fury regained his composure and asked, " Is that a threat ? " speaking for the first time, all this time he was observing how Percy was behaving and was stunned but didn't show it when Percy threatened them.

" It is not a threat but a promise I will keep if you betray him" responded Percy to Fury
