Kylie's POV
Mark and I had arrived at Burning Man on the morning of day one. We ended up across from this girl who looked so familiar. I couldn't remember where I saw her but she pretty much turned me gay. I told Mark that I was bi because I didn't want to hurt his feeling, because if I told him I was lesbian then he'd be upset because we would have to break up.
It's a little sad that I have to hide my feelings. It's just that Mark and I had been in a relationship for a while and I do love him. Just not like I thought I did.
Mark and I spent our first day setting up and when night came I remember staring across our camp at the girl before she went into her camper. She caught me looking at her so I just waved and quickly turned around.

When I went into my camper Mark was sitting on the small couch looking at me with curiosity.
"I saw you looking at her," he said still holding eye contact. "I feel like you have more interest in the women here than me."
"Mark, sweetie, I only love you," I said sitting on his lap, my stomach felt sick because this whole straight thing wasn't for me anymore. "Yes they are pretty but I couldn't leave you."
"Of course, I could never let you go." He grabbed my waist and placed his hand on my thigh.
"Never" I squeaked out the word that I knew wasn't true, I've known that for a while.

I woke up the next morning with the sun shining through the curtains and Mark was nowhere to be found. I stepped out into the dusty air of the desert and spotted the girl across from me washing off behind a curtain with a bucket of water. I wanted to talk to her but I decided to wait until she was done bathing.
When she finished I had dressed in my outfit for today and walked over.
"Hi," I said, "I'm Kylie."
If my eyes didn't deceive me she gave me a quick up-down before she said anything else.
"I'm Sommer, with an O," her voice was cute."and if I'm not mistaken you're Kylie Rae."
I gave her a slight nod and pointed over to my camper. "Mark and I are staying over there if you ever want to stop by." She tilted her head a bit in confusion.
"Isn't that your boyfriend or something like that?" Her eyebrows were furrowed. "He was with another girl when he left, she knocked on the door and he kissed her when he answered."
I looked at her trying to act upset but I could care less, if he wanted to do that then he could if he wanted to. I wasn't going to stop him. My goal was to get close enough to Sommer, break up with Mark, and end up in her camper.
"Oh, I-I guess I should talk to him or something," I said looking at her eyes. "maybe break up with him."
Ok so I know this isn't the best chapter but I'm just trying to get this off the ground and flying before I run out of ideas but the rest of the story should be good.
