Seokjin was able to go back to school spending the whole day alone because Taehyung wasn't there. He texted and called but the boy never answered making him worried and unable to sleep. Leaving his house late at night he decided to go see him, the snuck through the window and saw the boy asleep facing towards a wall.

He poked the boy's cheek making him turn around showing his bruised up face, with blood even covering the pillow sheet. He brushes his fingers through the boy's hair as he hears him mumbling in his sleep, the mumbling becomes more frantic, almost as if he was struggling. Seokjin quickly woke him up making the boy jump up in shock breathing heavily.

"Are you ok?" Seokjin asks and the boy nods his head in response as he tries to catch his breath. "Is your dad home?"

Taehyung looks around the room still dazed before turning his attention back to the older. "No?" He replies.

"Why didn't you call me?" Seokjin questions.

"You were sick?" He answers.

"So?" Seokjin argues folding his arms against his chest.

"I'm sorry," he apologizes feeling as if he had done something wrong, he never wanted to upset his boyfriend.

"It's fine," he says pecking the boy's nose making him smile. "You did nothing wrong at all."

The boys are silent for a moment sitting there staring at each other lovingly with small smiles on their faces. "Why didn't you come to school?"

"I couldn't fix my face," he answers shrugging.

"And that's why you should call me or the polic-"

"I can't do that," he whispers biting his bottom lip in frustration.

He wants to say something, but he can't. He's too afraid of what would happen if the truth came out. Where would he go? His father is his only family after his mother passed away. What would he lose? His life... His friends... And most of all Seokjin.

"I know," Seokjin mutters pressing a kiss on the boy's lips, but quickly jumps away when Mr. Kim comes into the room, slamming the door open.

"You brought your little boyfriend home, huh?" Mr. Kim hisses walking towards the boy. Seokjin stands up and Mr. Kim steps in his face, all Taehyung can do is sit there and stare. "What are you doing in my home?"

He can't speak, getting too choked up on his words he moves away. but the man still comes forward backing him into a corner. "Let me ask you again, what are you doing in my home?" He yells in the boy's ear as he grabs onto his hair.

The sounds around him are muffled, all Taehyung can see is Seokjin screaming as his father yanks into his hair, yelling at him at him; he's in a panicked state, unable to move. A loud sound bounces off the walls and Taehyung looks up to see his boyfriend standing there with a large hand mark on his face and tears rolling down his face.

Taehyung snaps, finally being able to stand he shakily grabs a bat, swinging it at his father's head, knocking the man to the ground to the ground. All Taehyung can see is red as he repeatedly hits the screaming man, Seokjin begs for him to stop but he can't. Dark red blood oozes out of his father's head staining the white carpet, breathing heavily he drops the bat to the ground once the warm liquid his feet.

He sinks to the ground in front of his father, staring at the man with an emotionless face. "What did I do?" He whimpers shaking the unconscious man getting blood on his hands and clothes.

"Its okay," Seokjin mumbles checking the man's pulse. "He's still alive, you didn't kill him."

"I-I, he hit you! I couldn't control myself I'm so sorry," he cries out. Seokjin wraps his arms around the boy to console the boy. "We should clean all of this up,"

"I want to leave," Taehyung mutters moving away from the body.

"You have blood al-"

"Please," he begs, taking off his bloodied jacket.

Seokjin nods washing off the blood and grabbing their things before heading out. They hear police sirens nearing their way towards the house and run out into the cold night, nothing but the dim streetlights to guide their way. They stop in an alley sitting together on an old mattress, too dazed to worry about whatever could be on it. They sit there silently staring at a brick wall, processing what happened.

"Stay at my house? I can hide you in my room and I'll bring you food, my parents, won't know," Seokjin finally speaks up.

"Baby I can't, yo-"

"I know, but I don't want you to spend the night with him," He mutters looking at the younger. "He's going to kill you."

"Do you want to leave?" Taehyung asks.

"Wha-"

"Do you want to leave everything behind? Start over and live together," Taehyung asks excitedly. "Wait, no that's crazy. Your parents would kill me."

"I'd go anywhere with you. You want to leave town? Let's do it," Seokjin replies.

"Let's do it," Taehyung agrees still staring at the brick wall. "November twenty-second?"

"November twenty-second," The older agrees smiling at the boy gaining a boxy-grin in return.

Taehyung lays against the older snuggling into him. "Sing me to sleep?"

"Of course," Jin mumbles letting the boy rest against his chest as he runs his fingers through his hair. He smiles grimly to himself as he sings their song, Taehyung quietly hums along.

He would be lying if he said he's not afraid of what might happen, but he knows it will be what's best for the both of them.
