Chapter 17: The Fever and Sore Throat

Katherine POV

I woke up hearing noises .... uhh noises of someone moving around so I had opened my eyes and saw Carter walking out the bathroom with just his boxer and a tie with no shirt on

oooooo I like my view ...he looked stressed out "Carter" I say yawning

"What" he growled .... hmmm somebody is grumpy

"What did I do to make you mad at me?" I say getting annoyed with his tone with me

he sighed "Sorry Baby ... its just I just got sighed to do a mission but I got to go to a meeting right now" he say

he came and sat on the bed next to me and I leaned up and wrapped my arms around him

"You look really sexy with just that tie on" I say and he chuckled and I felt the vibration threw his back

"Thank You" he says still chuckling .. I smiled and laid my head on his shoulders

"Your welcome" I say

"I need to get ready Katherine" he says

"Noooooooooo don't go .... Stay with me" I whined

he started Chuckling again

"As much as I want to stay and be with you ... I can't ... I'm Still the Alpha and I must do my job" he says

I pouted "Okay" I say sounding like a 5 year old who just gave up on begging to stay at the park

he turn around and grabbed me and pulled me to his lap and gave me a kiss

"Don't be a Cry baby kit kat" he says

"Whatever" I say ... he looked at me with sadness in his eyes ... we both knew why

"Momma!" Liana said coming in the room crying and I quickly got off of Carter and went to her

"Whats wrong Liana?" I say bending down to her level

"Leon" she cried out

"What about Leon?" I say worried

"He's hot ... really really hot Momma" I look at her confused than looked at Carter

"Liana stay here with Daddy okay" I say

"Okay"

I quickly went to the twins rooms and saw Leon sweating a lot and he's moaning

I went up to his bed and touched his forehead ... ouch he's super hot

"Mommy" he managed to say

"Yes baby its mommy"

"its hot ...I don't feel good" he says

"Shhhh... mommy will make you feel better" I say

I'm not sure what to do ... I never had a Fever before neither have the twins ....

I had picked up Leon and he snuggled up into my chest and I walked out of the room and had slipped on my shoes while holding Leon

"Carter" I say before I left out "Yeah" he says

"He's really hot ... I'm going to take him to the hospital"

"I'm coming two"

"No ... you need to attend your meeting and mission ... I'll call you when I find out what wrong with him"

"Liana you'll stay here with Lilly okay"

I had quickly went down stairs and out side and into the car and to the hospital
