Chapter 26: Saving The Children

Katherine's POV

I had went to go wake up the kids , because Carter left a note on the bed that read.

"Katherine , When you get up go get the kids and bring them to my office"

I had knocked on Daniel's door and he had opened "Morning kiddo, Carter wants you and your sisters and brother to meet him in his office" I say

"Okay"

"Get Dress and just go straight to his office....Do you know where it is?"

he shook his head

"Just go down stairs than make a right and at the room at the end of the hall...That's his office"

he nodded and I smiled and had left and went to go wake up the rest of the kids.

After waking up all the kids I went to Carter's Office and had sat in the chair that's in front of his desk.

"Katherine , We need to ask them what she's done to them" Carter says

"Isn't that a bit to Straightforwardly , I mean do you honestly think they'll open up so.."

"I know but I need to know so Sheryl could be punished for Harming Children"

I Sighed "Fine" I say

we heard a knock at the door

"Come in!" Carter yelled

the door opened and came in Daniel, Trisha, Greg and Fiona

"Have a seat and close the door" Carter says

They do as their told. Daniel sat next to me and the others sat on the couch.

"We need to ask you guys , what Sheryl has done" Carter says

They nodded "Daniel would you-" Carter starts but got cut off by Daniel

"No" He says

Carter eye brow raised and he sighed "Daniel" he says

"I said no, I don't want to talk about it" Daniel says

Carter had pinched the end of his nose than took a deep breath "Fine , We'll start with Trisha"

"Trisha would like to tell me" Carter says

she slowly nodded

She had cleared her throat.

"It's okay, You can tell us" I a sure her

"Well she had Hit me... Like she had punched me and had slapped me and had pushed me... When I was in 4th grade she had pushed me down stairs and sometimes" She had stopped than took a deep breath

"S-She Sometimes" She started crying

"She sometimes sell me to different men and tells me I am pathetic and wasn't meant to be born" she cried

I had got up and went to her and had hugged her "Shhh it's okay , Me and Carter Will help you all" I tell her and she nodded

"Greg" Carter says

"She's Done the same thing to all of us!" He yelled angrily

"The Only One she favors the most is Daniel! , She had starved me almost for about 3 days!" he had yelled

"Greg!" Daniel says

"No Danny , We all know what she does to you...Why Don't tell Alpha , They'll have us...they'll save us from that Lady...She isn't our mom"
