Chapter 40: Feeling Better?

Carter's POV

"Alpha .... Luna is alright" the doctor tells me.

I breathe a breath that I didn't know that I had. My Katherine is alright. Damn when she recovers , I don't want to hear any excuses from her. She's going threw training rather she likes or not.

"Uh...Alpha?" The doctor says. Which cause me to snap my attention back to the doctor.

"Yeah?" I say.

The doctor cleared his throat. "Luna...needs some blood donated to her." The doctor says.

"What's her blood type?"

"It's an A positive" the doctor says.

I smirked. I guess we were truly meant to be.

"I'll donate some of my blood...I'm an A postive too" the doctor nodded

I followed the doctor into a room and he drew some of my blood. After wards he told me to relax and he'll keep me updated.

After the surgery they called me back and told me it was a success.
I couldn't express this feeling that I'm feeling.
Though I feel really horrible not protecting really good.
But we all learn from all of our mistakes.

"Alpha?" A doctor said

"Yeah" I say looking up at the doctor.
"You may go see Luna.... But she's still resting"

I nodded. I got up and had went to her room.
I saw how peaceful she looked. I went up to her bedside and had gave her a kiss on her forehead.
My phone had went off. I had picked it up.
"Hello?".

"Carter how is Katherine" Nash says

"She's fine .... Just gotta let her rest for a little while and let everyone know that she's fine" I say

"Okay .... And um .... I have something to tell you" Nash says

I looked a bit confused. "What is it?"

"Well, Liana had cut some girls hair off today in school. Like one of the girls pig tails" he says ... I sighed.

"Thanks.... I'll deal with her tomorrow and do you mind bring them all tomorrow like in the afternoon" I say.

"Yeah , of course ... Anything thing else you need me to do .... I'm here for ya" Nash says. Pt

"Thanks man" I say

"No problem" he says.

We both hung up the phone.

I sighed as I went and took a seat.
Thinking about all the events that have been happening to us, it's pretty messed up. Maybe if we published a book about "Alpha Carter and his Family.... Our Beautiful Messed Up Lives" yeah that sounds more like us.

I had ended up dozing off.

I was feeling so uncomfortable so I ended up waking up. I had got up and stretched.
"Your finally up" A voice says which scared me a bit.
I turned and saw a smile appear on Katherine.

"How are you feeling?" I say.

"More than better" she says sarcastically. I had chuckled a bit.
She smirked. Than it dropped.

"Carter" she says really low.
"Yeah" I say.

"I'm sorry" she says.

I was confused. "Sorry for what?" I say.

"I'm sorry for being useless, I'm sorry for being a horrible mate, I'm sorry that you got stuck with me, I'm sorry I'm a bad mommy , I'm sorry I'm a bad wife, I'm sorry I'm always getting in trouble, I'm sorry that you have to stress more over me, I'm sorry I'm no help at all, I'm sor---" I had put my finger up to her mouth to shhhh her.

"Stop apologizing ... I love you and that's what all matter... If I didn't love you I wouldn't of gone threw all this trouble and all the bad things that's happen to us in the past and what's going to happen in the future to us" I say.

"Thank you Carter" she says.

"I'm happy that your my mate and that you accepted me for me" she says.
"Same to you too" I say.

"Mommy!" The girls screamed as they ran in the room.
Katherine smiled. "Hey girls" she says.
After they came in Nash , Leon and Jesse came in.

"Hey" Nash says as he sat Jesse's car seat down.
"Yo" I say.

Hmmm why haven't Leon said anything.
"Hey Leon" Katherine says.
Leon just looked at her than down at his hands.
Katherine had hurt written all over her but she covered it with a smile.

This isn't good.
"Leon... Here .... Now!" I mind linked him. He got up and quickly went to me.
"Why are you being mean to your mum?" I say.

"I wasn't" he says under his breath.

"Than why did you just look at her and not say anything?"

"Because I don't like when mommy is hurt ... I hate everyone who hurts mommy" he says.
I took a deep breath.

"I understand but don't push your mom away like that .... Okay?" I say.
"Okay" he says.
I smiled well , well I have nothing to say but ..... This family is so freaking awesome. And I can't wait to live the future. We are going to make a lot of changes within years as they pass.
