Serpent prince

Joey Kendall laid staring up at her bedroom ceiling after a sleepless night. She moved her attention from the dull Ceiling to the large figure pulling his clothes on by her window. She fixated her eyes on him. After yet another night of her dad screaming and and slapping her across the face, she ran to the Whyte Worm. Drinking shot after shot, grinding on many men and ending up taking a man back to hers.

"Hey...". His voice was raspy and a smirk was plastered on his smug looking face. "You have to leave through the window". She demanded coldly, this was not a unusual event in joey Kendall's life in fact it happened a few times a week. The man who she took home last night nodded unsure of what to say, so he did as told. He lifted the window and sat at the edge before climbing out he gave the hungover girl a simple wave and nod.

Joey Kendall, stood up sheet around her naked and hickey covered body. She moved weakly towards her Mirror to look at the nights damage. Her hand travelled up to her face tracing over the hand printed bruise down to the cover of hickeys implanted on her neck and chest, she zoned out thinking of the nights event. A gentle knock at her half closed door pulled her out of her daze and she turned around to her older half brother, sweet pea.

"Another 'friend' little sis?" Peas voice was stern and strong as he spoke. "Hmmm, you could say that." He stared her down, but stopped on her face noticing the hand print bruise. "What happened Jo?" The girl shook her head as if to say nothing and moved to her battered fixed in wardrobe picking up a outfit for school. "Sure doesn't look like nothing." This time his voice was in a slight mumble, before he walked away.

Once she was dressed, make up and all she walked out her bedroom stepping over her passed out Dad on the trailer floor. She rolled her eyes as she opened the door, where sweet pea was waiting on his bike ready to take them to the hell hold they call school.

They turned up at Southside high 10 minutes later. Sweet pea parked next to all the other serpents and turned the engine off. The young redheaded girl jumped off the old bike and pulled out a flask from her bag, taking a large gulp. All the serpents eyes were on the girl as she continued to drink the burning liquid that her flask contained.

Her older brother kept his eyes permanently on his sister. The pain was evident in her eyes and the self- destructive behaviour grew more everyday. He had began to notice the small things each day. He noticed the split lips, black eyes, bruised face and neck. He listened for her and her 'guests' come in at stupid o'clock in the morning. He found the countless bottles of vodka in her room and her bags. Guilt swallowed him up everyday, he felt guilty that he didn't know what was happening with her.

"Conner." A small pink haired serpent girl shouted across the car park. Joey Kendall removed the flask from her red plump painted lips looking up at her best friend strolling over to her. "Toni, I must have done something w-wrong if your u-using my last name." The tipsy girl slurred on her words and hiccuped. "What you did wrong is that you are meant to be taking Fp's kid on a tour with me." The Latino girl accused rightfully before grabbing the pale skin girl and dragging her into the school.

The two girls stood inside the graffiti covered wall waiting for the newbie. Joey Kendall now stood lent up against the lockers, flask in hand waiting impatiently. She wasn't paying any attention until she heard Toni topaz introducing herself to the beanie wearing boy. Joey Kendall stood straight and moved towards Toni's side.

"Jughead Jones.. this is Joey Kendall Conner. J this is Jughead Jones the lll." Toni stated a hint of amusement in her voice. "Ah Jughead Jones the lll, what a pleasure." Joey Kendall's voice was laced with mockery as she walked around the strange boy in a circle. Jughead's eyes followed as she did, when she moved back to Toni they continued the tour.

"And here we have jingle jangle being consumed in it natural habitat." Toni stated disgustingly to Jughead as they continued to walk. "Jingle jangle?" Jughead asked clearly confused. The red haired girl quickly cut in, "JJ is a total gutter drug, It will do nothing but ruin everything in your damn life." The girl thought back to the day when she caught her dad consuming the drug.

She was about 8 when the small girl walked through the trailer door. Only to stop when she saw her father Jake throwing back a straw of jingle jangle. When he heard the door close his dark evil eyes shot to hear. Her fathers usual brown eyes went pitch black. He stood slowly but it all happened so fast. Throwing himself at his young daughter for the first time. He grabbed a fist full of red hair and smashed her face into their front door before pushing her violently into the wall, punching her several times. He lent down whispering the three sentences she would never forget. "My wife left me because of YOU. A stupid, disappointing, worthless mistake. And I will NEVER LOVE YOU.

When the three teens had made it into the cafeteria, she waved to Jughead "later serpent prince." Joey Kendall walked straight over to the serpent table, unbothered by the looks everyone gave her. She sat her self on top of the table facing everyone with her back against the tables edge.

"Joey Kendall it's nice to see you with... more clothes on." A mans deep and cocky voice bellowed form behind her. All serpents turned to look at the boy greeting the girl. Their eyes met a 17 year old boy with black her and green eyes. He was accompanied by two other boys but with blonde hair. "Michael was it." She asked pointing at him. The boy shook his head and chuckled almost nervously. "Err.. no it's Zack." He corrected. She smiled to herself before looking back at the serpents who were intrigued by their conversation.

"Really, I don't remember a Zack. I remember a Michael because he gave a night that I wouldn't forget." The boy took a step towards causing sweet pea to be on high alert. "That was all me baby, those hickeys were all me. That pain you feel when you walk that was me." The boy apparently named Zack whispered in her ear sending shivers down her spin. "I'm ready for round 2 if you are?" The boy grabbed her hand pulling her close and then pushing her up against the wall of the cafeteria. Their lips connected, his with such eagerness but hers with intense pain.

Sweet pea growled lowly when his sister was pushed against the wall by the boy. He slammed his fist forcefully on the table when he began kissing down her neck, hands hiking up her skirt. Then he lost it, when a small moan escaped his baby sisters lips. He stalked towards the two, pulling the boy of her an punching him square in the nose all in one swift movement.

The red haired girl pushed herself of the wall straightening out her skirt before she casually walked off whipping the corner of her mouth. Little did she know the strange beanie boy named Jughead had watched the entire scene unfold. He was more than interested by this girl he was captivated by her.
