"Sis, what's happening? Why are we up so late?"

"SHHH be quiet! They might hear you."

"'They'? Who's 'they'?"

She never answered my question. We just hold each other tightly in my room, right after she rudely interrupted my sleep. It was about one o' clock in the morning, my sister is quivering, and I don't know why. I've never seen her so scared before, and it kinda makes me nervous. I can't ask anything or else she'll shush me again. We sit there and wait for minutes, until...

-BANG BANG-

I can hear my sister whimper, the door sounding like it was blown off.

"Everyone who is inside this house, GET OUT NOW!" I hear a muffled, older man's voice through the walls. For a minute I consider cooperating since I'm scared half to death, but my sister, clasping my arm so tightly, keeps me in my place.

"YOU HAVE THREE SECONDS TO GET OUT BEFORE WE FORCE YOU OUT."

Time seemed to slow in those last three seconds.

I'm glad it did.

They burst open 4 other doors before they got to ours, shining a light on our shriveled up bodies. One of them screams "IN HERE," while two others approach me and my sis. I hold her arm tightly as she screams and hisses for them to get away, but they don't listen. One for each of us, they grab us forcefully and try to separate us, but my sister is too quick for them. She swiftly elbows one of the strange men in the nose, then grabs my arm and pulls me out the room, out of the second man's grasp. There are more of them, so much more of them. One of the strange men grabs a transceiver and yells into it as we zoom by, heading straight for the door.

One of the armored men grabs me by the arm, pulling me out of my sister's grasp. I scream in horror as my sister turns around to get me, but that leaves her blind sided. I watch as she is held down by two other armored men, putting hand cuffs on her wrists. They do the same to me.

In that moment I contemplated what just happened, and what we might've done wrong to deserve this. My sister was a good person, I knew she wouldn't do anything wrong, then why are there some sort of armored police men break into our house and arresting us?

My question would be answered soon, and it would be much worse then I could ever imagine.

I watch as my sister is forcefully shoved into a car, a black silhouette in the night. I'm forced into another car just like it. I can hardly see through the tinted windows, but I see an outline of my sister, her head bowed and her shoulders slacking. Then, we start to move.

The car ride probably only took 30 minutes, but to me, it felt like hours upon hours in endless silence, the only thing I could hear was my heart beat, beating faster than it ever has. I continue to watch my sister's car behind me, when there is a fork in the road. I scream "NO" as I watch my sister's car go the other way, her car fading more and more in the distance, till it's nothing but a small black dot in the night.

That was the last time I ever saw her.
