Kira pov

Next day

I yawned as i sat up in my bed and stretched. Today was the kimono festival and since i had taken a bath last night i just brushed my teeth and and then put on a black tank top and shorts under my kimono incase i had to fight. My weapons pouch was strapped on my right leg and my katana's were in a scroll. I put on my kimono and put my hair in the traditional bunand decorated with a few red flowers and lastly my boots.

I walked downstairs towards the kitchen where i could sense 4 chakra signatures. I entered to see the kazekage and his children sitting a small conversation between Temari and Kankuro both already dressed in their clothes, the kazekage and Gaara sat quietly both dressed well in Gaara and Kankuro's case both boy's were wearing matching black yukata's and the Kazekage was in his kage clothes.

I bowed upon entering as Gaara and Kankuro both had little pink on their cheeks while the Kazekage nodded and Temari grinned seeing me. The kazekage got up and left leaving the four of us together. I sat next to Temari and took three pancakes and poured a bit of maple syrup over it and quickly finished it.

"When are we leaving Tem-chan?" I asked her

"If everyone is ready then right now" She replied as she looked at her brothers for confirmation who nodded as we all left the house as I put my guard up walking behind Temari and Kankuro and side by side with Gaara. I smiled at him as he blushed a light pink and looked at the ground. A few girls came up to Temari and wanted to drag her away from the rest of us. Temari looked at me as I did the shadow clone jutsu and send my clone with Temari.

Kankuro left with another of my clone as he saw his friend leaving me and Gaara alone. I looked around the decorations.

As time went by I dragged Gaara around playing different games and sitting on the rides. We both sat down on this high where we met up with Kankuro and Temari. Just then the music got louder and my favourite song started playing. I couldn't help but squeal and get lost in the song and began singing aloud grabbing Temari's hand and started dancing with her.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! There was and explosion and people were screaming and saw 10 ninja's running towards the sand siblings. All three immediately got in a fighting stance. I got in front of them, My katana's out as i stood in front of them. I removed my Kimono and ran towards the ninja. Kicking and punching and swinging my sword at them as one by one all dropped on the floor.

I stood back up panting slightly, and looked up as a man started walking towards me clapping his hands. It was dead silent and the pitch black night silent as the moon gleamed, and the only other source of light was the colourful lights of the festival. Everyone was gone and only me, this man and the sand siblings a few distances away behind me stood watching. 

"Who are you?" my voice was stern and menacing. The man was was a lot taller to me and must've been aroud 45. He was bald and had crooked teeth. Basically the appearence of a criminal.

"I am sure who I am doesn't matter and I must say you are quite skilled however my buisness is with the demon, I should've known the Kazekage would have appointed someone to protect the children though i didn't expect it to be a child herself"

"I am an S-class jonin not just a random kid and as for Gaara you are not getting him and right now I am about to defeat you and hand you over to the Kazekage to do as he wishes."

He growled and took out a kunai and came at me, I ran forward using my speed i slammed my katana in his stomach. I heard him gasp as he fell on the floor unconcious. I stopped the bleed and picked the guy up over my shoulder and turned around. The sand siblings were gaping at me with surprise and awe.

"Let's go quick before any more re inforcements come, Temari lead the way to your father's office, Kankuro, Gaara stay close and move fast. Go!" We all started running towards the office. As we stopped in front of the door the guards immediately opened the door and let us in.

2 more jonin came as well and took the guy away from as I gave my report to the Kazekage. The Kazekage nodded and said that I could return to Konoha tomorrow. I nodded and left with the siblings back to their house I quickly washed up and changed into my dress and strapped my katana's on my back and packed all my things. I looked around once I was sure I had everything I went downstairs. 

Temari saw my bag and looked surprised "At this time if the night you want to leave for Konoha? Are you crazy?"

I sweatdropped at her " I really should get going i am not sleepy and I think its better if I leave now so I can get there at nightfall because in the morning in will have missions with my team."

"your team?"

I nodded " i am an assisstant jonin sensei to a team and the other sensei is mist probably lazing somwehere reading some perverted book so I should get back."

She nodded and gave me a hug, as did Kankuro. I looked around for Gaara. " Where is Gaara?" 

"On the roof" Kankuro told me. I nodded waving then going out of the house and then jumped on the roof and saw Gaara standing there staring at me. I walked towards and gave him a hug to which he slowly raised his hands to hug me back. " Goodbye Gaara, we will see each other soon, bye" I gave a kiss on his cheek and waved one more time as I took of in the silent night and out of the gates and made my way to Konoha using my full speed hopefull to get there in 3hrs so I can get a bit of sleep.

"Goodnight Gaara, minna" I whispered as I closed my eyes falling asleep quickly. My normally empty dreams filled with thougths of the festival.
