Chapter 5

After Jungkook had dropped of Jiyeon to her job that afternoon, him and Sohyun both sat at the dinner table and he pulled out an old looking phone and dialed Baekhyun's number. He then set the phone in between them and put it on speaker. 

"Hello." said Baehkyun from the other end. 

"We have your sister." said Jungkook and then shot Sohyun a glance. 

"What? I didn't even realize that she was gone." said Baehkyun rushing up the stairs at his home and barging into his sister's room. Jungkook gave Sohyun a questioning look but she just sighed and balanced her chin on her palms. 

"What do you want?" asked Baehkyun.

"I want $5000 and a written apology to Jeon Jiyeon." said Jungkook.

"Wha... How do you know Jiyeon?" questioned Baehkyun. 

"That's for me to know. Just bring the money and the written apology to Myorie Park tonight at 11:30." Jungkook hung up the phone, pulled out the sim card and threw it on the ground. He stomped on it a few times until it was broken, tore the rest of it apart and then threw it out. He sat back down with Sohyun.

"How could someone not realize that their sister had been missing for almost a whole day? If Jiyeon didnt come back from her job by the time she told me then I would be sending everyone out to search for her." He let out a dry laugh and looked to Sohyun. This was the first time that he saw how pretty she was. Her wavy dark hair draped over her shoulders and glistening dark almond shaped eyes really stood out to the boy. He shook of whatever he was feeling and waited for Sohyun to answer.

"You don't seem like the protective type. Anyways I know that as soon as i'm back with my brother, he'll practically sell me into a marriage to get me out of his life." Sohyun sighed and got up from the chair to go upstairs. 

"Sadly, I can't keep you here forever, Sohyun." Sohyun stopped in her tracks trying to soak up what Jungkook had said to her but started quickly walking again.

That night Jungkook, Jin and Yoongi were leaving to take Sohyun back to her brother. 

"Is everyone in the truck? Me driving, Yoongi passenger seat and Jungkook and Sohyung back seat." confirmed Jin. Everyone hummed in agreement and nodded. Jin started up the truck and drove in the direction of the agreed location. Sohyun couldn't help but think about what her brother would do to her when he got her back. 

A few minutes later they reached the location and Sohyun could see her bother standing there with a duffle bag and peice of paper. Jungkook got off first and started talking to Baekhyun about the money and Jiyeon and then he gestured for Sohyun to join them. Sohyun took a deep breath and then left the truck. She stood beside Jungkook. 

"I see that he kept you in good condition." said baekhyun to Sohyun.

"Better condition than you've kept me in." retorted Sohyun. Baekhyun ignored the remark and turned to Jungkook. 

"Hand over the money and you get your sister back." Jungkook reached out for the bag and letter, Baekhyun handed the contents to him.

"Come now, Sohyun. We have a lot to plan for the wedding." said Baekhyun turning around expecting Sohyun to follow. 

"What!? Wedding!?" Sohyun had no knowledge of this. 

"You and my friend of course." said Baekhyun turning around. The fact that Sohyun had no idea about this caught Jungkook's attention and he didn't leave her side. 

"I don't even know his name." Sohyun was holding back angry tears now. 

"You can get to know him once your married. You'll be happy, he's rich." said Baekhyun. Jungkook suddenly believed everything that Sohyun had told him and knew that he had to keep her safe from her brother and hs friend.

"Sohyun run to the truck. I'll take care of him." Jungkook whispered to Sohyun. Sohyun looked up to the boy, smiled at his kindness and ran for the truck.
