Chapter 12

Sohyun was sitting in the kitchen at the table, eating some leftover pasta from the night before with her newly found cat, Kookie, going round and round her ankles when she heard Jungkook's loud feet coming down the stairs. He walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge.

"Looking for something?" asked Sohyun glancing at the boy.

"Yeah, where's that pasta from last night?" he asks poking his head around in the fridge.

"In my stomach." said Sohyun getting up and dropping her bowl in the sink.

"Do I really have to start putting my name on takeout boxes now?" said Jungkook with a sigh. He pulled out a can of coke from the fridge, closed it and started to leave the kitchen when they heard the front door fly open. Sohyun left the kitchen to check who it was and came back a minute later.

"Who's that?" asked Jungkook.

"Jiyeon." answered Sohyun, scooping up Kookie and started to walk out of the kitchen.

"Hi Sohyun!" exclaimed Jiyeon. "You got a cat?! Kookie let you get a cat?!"

"Yup. We found it in the basement and guess what it's name is? Kookie!" exclaimed Sohyun.

"Can I hold it?" asked Jiyeon.

"Of course." Sohyun handed the Tuxedo cat, Kookie, over to the dark haired girl.

"What am I supposed to call my brother now that this cutie has taken his nickname?" Jiyeon asked the cat. The two girls laughed but Jungkook stared at the cat in silence. Kookie tried to struggle to get out of Jiyeon's arms and she finally put her down. Kookie walked over to Jungkook and started circling his ankles and hissing quietly. Jungkook tried to leave the kitchen but Kookie would just run infront of him and hiss. Sohyun finally decided to interfere so she went to Kookie and picked her up. Kookie instantly started acting like an angel in Sohyun's arms.

"All she wants is love. She doesn't seem to like you very much." said Jiyeon with a laugh.

"So, Kookie. What do you say?" JIyeon had been trying to convince Jungkook to let her and Sohyun go out for coffee alone without any of the other boys coming along with them but he just wouldn't budge.

"Jiyeon, try to understand-" started Jungkook but was cut off by Jimin as he walked into the kitchen and stood beside Sohyun. He slung his arm over her shoulders, Sohyun gave him a side glance and crossed her arms.

"Let the girls go, Kook. What's the worse that could happen?" said Jimin, clearly he was also trying to convince the boy.

"The worse that could happen is that Sohyun could get taken back by her brother and Jiyeon could get killed." replied Jungkook coldly.

"Just give them both each a loaded gun and they'll be fine." Jimin stated like giving the girls each a loaded gun was no big deal to him.

"No. No way am I keeping a gun with me. I won't be able to sit still the entire time." said Sohyun shaking off Jimin's arm.

"I'll keep the gun then. Please, Jungkook. She needs change and so do I." said Jiyeon pouting. Jungkook stared from Jiyeon to Sohyun to Jimin and then finally sighed in defeat.

"Fine." he said with a sigh. Jiyeon cheered and then pulled Sohyun up the stairs with her.

"Girls, am I right?" said Jungkook. Jimin sighed and walked away.
