Chapter 19

Sohyun walked down the stairs and turned the corner to try and find where Mina was. She finally saw Mina snooping around in the kitchen cabinets. She walked to Mina, being sure to keep a one metre distance atleast.

"What are you doing here?" asked Sohyun. Mina looked startled as she turned around but laughed it off.

"Looks like i've been caught." she said with a giggle.

"What are you doing down here at this hour?" Sohyun demanded.

"There's no point in lying to you anymore. I'm a robber too and I was going to rob the jewelry store that your friends showed up to rob. Then the police showed up and they grabbed me and before anything, I was here." she explained, leaving Sohyun to take it all in.

"You could just let me take all the money and leave and you won't get hurt, or I could kill you and take all the money and leave. It's up to you really." she said. Sohyun was still at a loss for words. It seemed that Mina had had enough of waiting for an answer so she pulled out a knife and dove for Sohyun. Sohyun fell to the ground with Mina trying to stab her. Sohyun let out a scream to inform the others that there was trouble and heard a pair of feet padding down the stairs. Mina scrambled to get off the girl and when she did, she ran somewhere into the darkness of the house before anyone could see her. The person running down the stairs was Jungkook.

"What happened?" he asked when he saw Sohyun lying on the ground with a gun a distance away from her.

"Mina... she... tried to... kill me."Sohyun said with her eyes squeezed shut. Just then a sickening crack came from above her where Jungkook was standing and his limp body fell on top of Sohyun.

"Jungkook!" she yelled and opened her eyes at the sound. When she looked to the side, she saw Mina standing above Sohyun and Jungkook with a broken glass bottle in her hand. All around them were shards of glass. Sohyun got up quickly and grabbed the gun, pushed the unconcious Jungkook behind her.

"Don't hurt him or anyone." said Sohyun in an attempt to be brave. Sohyun pointed the gun in the direction of Mina and before Mina could lunge at her again, she pulled the trigger. The bullet got her right in the chest and she fell to the ground. Sohyun fell to her knees and stared from Jungkook, who's head was now bleeding, to the person that she had just killed. Everyone else came running down the stairs and took in the scene. Jiyeon, followed by Jin, came and kneeled on either sides of Sohyun.

"What happened?!" asked Namjoon. Jiyeon then caught a glimpse of her brother.

"Jungkook!" she yelled and tried to turn him onto his back.

"I..." Sohyun lifted her hands and stared at her palms and then broke into tears, burying her face into Jin's arm.

"What happened, Sohyun?" he asked calmly.

"I killed someone."
