<excuses>

Troye was crying non-stop as Jimin was trying to change his wet diapers. The said male was so frustrated as his husband was absent for almost a week. He rarely sees Jungkook these days, when they are both in the office, they would have respective meetings to attend, after work, Jungkook would excuse himself, saying that he has some appointments with his friends. 

For a week now, Jungkook has been coming home very late at night that everyone in the house were asleep. Jimin barely had any chance to have a word or a serious conversation with him.

However, Jimin never missed the midnight kisses and hugs Jungkook is still giving him every night.

What Jimin really misses is, the never ending conversation and the family time they had.

Jimin finished changing the diapers at he carried the baby boy to join his younger brother in the baby room next to them.

They are three months old now, looking extremely healthy and strong. Everyone has been saying that Troye inherited Jimin's eyesmile and plump lips meanwhile Greyson has Jungkook's big doe eyes.

And of course, the couple agreed to both of the statements.

Jimin settled Troye and Greyson in their baby court before shutting off the lights and went back to his own bedroom.

It was already quarter past nine but Jungkook was still far from coming home. Thus,  Jimin has decided to give him a call.

"hey baby?" the call went through after the third dialling.

"are you coming home yet?" Jimin tries not to sound so annoyed by the fact that Jungkook is still out there,  doing things that Jimin had no idea at all.

"Uhm, I'll be home..soon."

"I'll wait-" Jimin was then interuppted by Jungkook on the other side of line, "don't wait for me baby, if you're tired, rest early. I'll see you tomorrow morning? I love you baby."

"alright then, goodnight." with that, Jimin hung the call without saying 'I love you' to Jungkook.

He threw his phone on the bed rather harshly as he buried his head in between the pillows while kicking his feet in the air. 

Jimin guessed that he would have to find out everything himself.

The next morning, Jimin was awake after hearing sounds coming out from the bathroom. He soon came to acknowledgement that it was his husband who was already awake in such early hour.

This time, Jimin caught the glimpse of Jungkook's phone that was placed on the side table, next to the lamp.  He bites the bottom of his lip before his instincts tell him to go for it.

Without hesitation, he swiftly went over to the table and grabbed Jungkook's phone and start scrolling over the caller ID and messages.

Within seconds, Jimin was boiling with rage upon seeing the repeated names on the caller ID and at the most delivered messages section.

Yugeom.

As the sound of Jungkook turning off the faucet could be heard, Jimin quickly put back the phone to where it supposed to be and went back to his original sleeping position.

Jungkook then came out of the bathroom and walks over to Jimin who was still sleeping. He stares at his husband's mesmerising features, studying every trace of Jimin that he wished he could just had them embed in him for eternity.

Jungkook's love for Jimin is just beyond any love that he had ever described. It is a love beyond love, a soul connection in which no soul is visible.

He leans in to place feather kisses along Jimin's forehead, then on his nose and lastly on his lips as he whispered, "I love you so much baby."

He then smiles, pretending that Jimin who was sleeping could actually see his smile. After that, he went back to the walk-in closet and starts dressing up, getting ready for work.

He usually waits for Jimin to get ready and they will both leave for work together but as for these two weeks, he will just have his own tasks to complete. Hence, he will leave on his own.

Jimin knocked on Jungkook's office door twice before entering, only to see Jungkook swiftly put down the phone that he was holding onto and smile delightfully at Jimin. 

But to the older male, the smile was a little unusual today.

"yes my baby?" Jungkook asked, waiting for Jimin to speak up.

"nothing serious, I was just asking if you wanna bring the kids to Lotte world tonight."   Jimin eyed the CEO, only to see Jungkook contemplated and lingered at his words, just like someone who thinks carefully before he says anything.

"Uhm, I'd love to baby. But I've an appointment tonight." Jungkook stood up and walked over to Jimin before wrapping his arm around the male's waist.

"with?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.

"Yugeom, we've things to discuss tonight." Jungkook half smile. 

"you've been away for a week now, Jeon! And it's Friday today! What makes you so busy?"

"I-I was just-"

"you're just giving more excuses!"
