She smiles,
even though the action feels so foreign.
She laughs,
even if she has to fake it.
She loves,
even when it's hopeless.
She cries,
at night when no one can hear her.
She lies,
because it's the only truth for her.
She aches,
for someone to help her.
She hides,
everything that is going on.
She acts,
like everything is okay.
She pretends,
that her world isn't crumbling piece by piece.
She couldn't,
keep living this way.
She didn't,
have anyone to turn to.
She hasn't,
felt this much pain before.
She thought,
this would be better.
She believed,
this would be her relief.
She hoped,
this would be okay.
She died,
on June 26, 2018.
