Chapter 12

[Youngbin POV]

I waited outside the operation room. The doctor in charge decided to operate him that night. 

"Youngbin-ah! Where's my brother?"

"Jaeyoon-ah, he's inside right now. They can't wait for tomorrow."

Jaeyoon slumped on to the floor while tears running on his cheeks. Inseong helps him to stand up and made him sit on the chair beside me. Inseong patted my shoulders and motioned me to take a seat too. I just give him a faint smile before taking a seat beside them.

It's already been a few hours since the operation started that I didn't even know when did I fall asleep. I woke up because a few medical assistants running fast into the operation theater. My heart pumps quicker as I knew that means something bad happened inside it. I stand up and look around me. Jaeyoon and Inseong also have the same look as me. Both are worried with whatever happened inside. I stand up and wandering in front of the door for another half an hour when the door suddenly opened from inside revealing a young man wearing a clothes like a doctor would. He still have the traces of sweats on his forehead. He was followed by a few nurses holding papers or documents.

"May I see Mr. Lee's family members or guardian?"

"Yes, I'm his brother."

"We have done everything we could. It is a successful operation. But it relies on himself for now. We need to monitor him strictly tonight as the first 24 hour is critical for him." 

"Thank you.. Dr. Yoo."

The young doctor smiles and made his way to another side of the corridor.

"We'll placed him back in his room in half an hour. Only one person allowed each time to visit."

"Thank god."

Jaeyoon hugs Inseong and cries on his shoulders.

- In front of Dawon's room-

"I'll go tell the others about the news. I have to go now. I'll be back soon."

Both of them nodded before we parted our ways.
