*flashback 200 days earlier*
- security room
"How long has this kid been in here?"
"Long. I don't know. About two years maybe?"
"Has he ever talked?"
"Screamed."
The security guard sighed. "Look doc, I can't do anything for you, you're the psychiatrist in here."
She nodded. "Yes. Yes you're right." She seemed rather nervous. "You don't have to be afraid of Joseph. He's probably the easiest patient to handle. We think. He has never had visitors before. One tip. Don't ever. Turn the lamp on the desk on." She nodded and left the room. The opened cell number 15 , got in and closed the door. "Tyler Joseph?" The boy was sitting on the floor facing a wall. She frowned. "Tyler?" She walked towards him. He didn't move a muscle. "Can you confirm your name please?" No answer.
Laughter.
Sick, twisted laughter getting louder and louder and louder.
"Tyler, I have some questions for you. I'm here to help."
"East is up." He muttered.
"What?" The doctor asked confused
"Blocked."
"What's blocked ?"
"east is up."
"Tyler. I need you to answer my questions now. How are you feeling?"
"What a beautiful day oh what a beautiful day. East is up. East is up." He kept repeating that phrase
"Tyler. Answer me." She demanded.
"The sky the sky. Oh the lovely sky." He remained in his position facing the wall. "The sky oh the sky." He continued." The therapist sighed and took notes. "What's with the sky Tyler?" Tyler had his knees pulled up and his arms wrapped around them. "East is up."
The therapist was done with him already.
She shouldn't have done what she did next.
She walked over to the desk and switched on the tiny desk light
Tyler immediately rose to his feet and stepped really,
Really
Close to the womans face.
"Turn it off."
It wasn't the voice he'd used before.
It wad dark. Dark and cold.
"Turn. It. Off."
He said once more. His face was almost against hers and his eyes were flicking to a weird sort of red for a split second. "TURN IT OFF." He shrieked. "TURN IT OFF TURN IT OFF TURN IT OFF!" He clawed his hands out to the womans face and looked her directly into the eyes. "OFF. TURN IT OFF. OFF OFF OFF!" He kept yelling and started throwing things around like a madman. He scratched his own face and left scars. Security had sent people over  to the room. They opened the door and stormed inside. They handcuffed tyler and as soon as they turned off the light he started crying like never before.
They wanted to take the therapist right away when she noticed something. "Wait! Wait!" She ran back into the room and grabbed the stack of drawings on the bed. " I'm going to need these." She said. "No you're not." The guard said. "He can't stay here."
