CHAPTER SIXTEEN
"So, having found a lady, could you not have come to her aid, or left her alone? Why drag her into your foolishness?"
"Love," he explained.
She looked at him with eyes the blue of the sky. "I hope you choke on it," she said, flatly."I think I'm going to pass out," Jeongguk says as he inspects himself in front of the mirror. His eyes rake his own body up and down as well as the expensive piece of luxurious clothing that he has on.
"Don't worry, you look perfect. It suits you just right," Jimin dusts off some dirt sticking to the coat and adjusts the collar which causes Jeongguk to shrink even more. He can never get used to this. "It's my Armani suit from last year that I never got to wear. But take care of it, it costs a fortune."
"I uh... are you sure you should be trusting me with this?" Jeongguk runs his fingers over his sleeve. Never has he ever imagined himself wearing such an expensive clothing, what more a suit. Is this what being rich feels like?
Jimin merely laughs and pats him on the shoulder like a proud father seeing his child wearing a school uniform for the first time. "Just don't get it wet or spill food on it. Other than that, I'm completely fine."
Jeongguk surveys himself in the mirror one last time. He studies the unique needlework on the fabric and wonders if his mother is also capable to do such beautiful works as these. He's proud to say that his mother can do anything; his multitalented heroine.
He turns around to face Jimin, who still hasn't wiped off that smile from his face. "Do I look okay?" Jeongguk asks again for reassurance. The older boy nods.
"I bet even Kim Taehyung's fiance won't be able to keep her eyes off of you," he tuts and Jeongguk laughs.
"Thanks, Jimin."
"Anytime, now go break a leg."

When Jeongguk appears in front of Yerim's room all dressed up in his fancy suit, the sudden feeling of self consciousness rushes over him and he has the urge to bolt away and hide. He takes off the coat for now and clutches it awkwardly his hands. Should he just bail?
Before he has the chance to do so, Yerim is sliding the door open as if she's already had the feeling that he was standing right outside.
Jeongguk wants to say something but it seems like all the things he's been planning to get out of his mind before he came here blew away like dust in the wind when he sets his eyes on the most beautiful person in the world. His jaw drops.
"You look like a gaping fish," she teases as she quickly grasps onto one of his arms and tugs him in before sliding the door shut. Once inside, Jeongguk can smell it again; the strong scent of lemons and rosemaries. He tries to fully digest all of Yerim's appearance, his heart pounding against his chest faster and faster the longer he stares.
