This is a short one

But still... Enjoy!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He needed a bear.

I mean beer – he needed a beer. And that is why the first thing he did after the meeting with Boss, was stalk right off to the NOCA’s kitchen. He opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle and then closing the fridge shut, leaning against its door casually with beer in hand. His free hand was tightly snuck under his other arm. The kitchen was empty – probably because everyone was hanging in the free-room – which Aidan was relieved about. It gave him a chance to relax before meeting them all, having to go through questions he didn’t have clear answers to. What better way to relax then some good gulps of beer? If there was anythings he’d learned from Sam during those years of his childhood, it was to always have a beer at hand, because beer should be drank both as a warm-up and a cool-down. Not that he was an alcoholic.

He heard a whistle from across the room and shot a quick glance toward the direction. ”Lookin’ good”, Alex said, coming over. Aidan rolled his eyes at her persistent flirting. She had that in common with Zach. Well, they were siblings after all.

”So how’d it go the other night?”, she asked, leaning her back on the sink next to him and crossed her arms. For her to show interest in people without having a motive that involved flirting was unusual. He furrowed his brows. ”Are you referring to the mission or Pauline?”

”I’m referring to the morning after we had sex and Pauline so politely interrupted us in all of our morning-glory.”

He grunted and shifted his weight a little. ”Well… Nothing much really”, he said and shrugged.

”Really?”, she questioned, narrowed eyes observing his facial expression as he looked down at his hands cupping the bottle. Oh my, he had a cute side to him too, Alex thought to herself, smile spreading across her face. He was younger than her, a three years difference, so it wasn’t that weird really. ”Because personally I heard that something happened in that room…”, she drawled, teasing him. His head snapped up to catch her gaze. He observed her for a while before it was his turn to narrow his eyes at her.

”No you didn’t”, he stated simply. He was on to her games.

”Okay, true, but seriously – spill”.

Aidan bit his lip, reluctant to reveal that he still was weak; That Pauline still had him by her hand; That she had succeeded and he had given in to her.

Alex's gaze fell on Aidan's mouth as he flicked his tounge over his bottom-lip. She wanted to bite that swollen, pink-tinted lip. ”So anyways”, she started as she reached out to take the sunglasses hanging from his neck, playfully. She put them on herself and smirked, tossing her hair back. ”I was gonna ask youuu… Do you perhaps feel like doing something any time this week?”

He hesitated before answering. Or rather, asking: ”With you?” She flinched, a little offended.

”No with spongebob. Me of course – I’m the one asking! Dipshit.”, she un-crossed her arms and then crossed them over her chest again, a little irritated. ”You just keep on insulting me”, she said through pouting lips and breathed a heavy exhale. Aidan scratched his neck uncomfortably.

”Alex, I don’t know if I’m really up for it”. He gave her an apologetic look. ”Sorry”. Alex pushed herself of the sink and stood infront of Aidan with a slight smile. ”Party-pooper”, she said and punched his bicep lightly with her fist. ”Who?”
