KRYSTAL'S POV

I sit in front of Grayson on the swing set. He had tears falling down his cheeks. "Grayson, are you mad at me?" He looked up at me. "No, I am not mad. I am just confused. Did I do something wrong?" His voice choked some on he tears. I crouched down in front of him and pulled him into a hug. He wrapped his arms around me and buried his face into my neck. The tears start to wet my neck. "No, Grayson. You could never do something wrong." He broke away and looked me into the eye. He leaned in and kissed me. It was awkward. I felt nothing. He pulled away, "Anything?" I shook my head 'no'. He nodded and let me go. "Can I ask why?" I wiped his face as another tear fell. "I think you know. Do you really want me to say it?" He nodded his head 'yes'.

*FLASHBACK*

I open my door to see Nolan standing there with his crutches. "Nolan? What are you doing here? You shouldn't be standing on your leg!" He doesn't say anything else, but walks into my room. He sat on my bed and leaned his crutches on the side next to him. He looked up at me searching for something. I close the door and lock it. I go sit on my bed next to him. We don't speak, but just look at each other. He reminds me of the boy I met at the Bash. He was playing with his zipper, and giving me a confused look. "Are you happy?" I look at him confused. He continues, "Does he make you happy? Happier than when we were together?" Tears started to well up in his eyes. "Nolan, I don't know what to say." He looked me in the eye and grabbed my hand. He rubbed it with his thumb. "Tell me the truth. I know I don't deserve it after everything I put you through, but I just have to know. I have to get over you, Krystal. Please, tell me that you are over me and that he makes you happy. That way I can try to move on. I know it won't be easy, but it will be what we both need." I sat there and processed what exactly he said to me. "Please, say something." I feel the tears start to well up in my eyes. I shock myself with my next reaction. I put our lips together. I instantly feel sparks, that I didn't notice were missing when I kissed Grayson. I thought I felt some when we kissed, but kissing Nolan helped me realize that I didn't. Nolan kissed me back immediately. His tongue swiped my lower lip asking for entrance, and I gladly accept it. We finally broke out our mini-make out session. We try to steady our breathing. "I love you, Krystal." He says as he stares at me. "I love you, too, Nolan." In that moment, I knew I am in love with Nolan. We might have had a bad past, but he is who I wanted to be with. Now, just to tell Grayson. 

*Flashback Ends* 

I told him everything. He nodded and looked back down to his hands. "He is a lucky guy." I heard him say under his breath. I move his chin to have him look at me again. "Listen to me, no matter what I love you. I just love Nolan in a different way. Grayson, you are perfect and any girl--." He cuts in, "If I was perfect, then my own girlfriend wouldn't be dumping me for my triplet brother that cheated on her." He got up and left. Leaving me by the swings alone. His warmth is gone. I start tearing up and look up at the sky. "Way to go, Krystal. You are just great at fucking everything up." I am broken out of my conversation with myself when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I check to see I got a text from Ethan. 

Ethan: "Hey, where are you? We have the meet up with Kait in 5 minutes."

Shit, I forgot. 

Krystal: "Oh! I am sorry! I lost track of time. I will be there ASAP!"
