A Thrilling Ending

KRYSTAL'S POV

Grayson and I walked to the park together. We didn't really talk about it, but I could tell he was nervous about how this is going to play out, also. We both arrive and see Ethan and Anastasia talking at the picnic table, while Nolan is quietly looking down at his zipper. My heart skips a beat looking at him. "It's not polite to stare." I hear someone whisper in my ear. I look up to find Grayson smirking at me. "Krystal! Grayson!" We both look to see Anastasia walking over to us. Ethan followers her and Nolan stays at the table. "Now that you two are here, we all need to talk." She takes my hand and leads me to the table. I sit down next to Nolan, which reminds me of when we met at the Welcome Back Bash. He looked at me and smiled at me. He had sadness in his eyes, though. "You okay?" He shook his head, 'no'. I was about to ask what was bothering him, but Anastasia cut me off. "I want to start off by saying, I am sorry." Everyone looked at her in shock. "For what?" I asked. She looked down at her hands and bit her lip. Ethan reached up and started rubbing her back.

"I am sorry for everything. I am sorry for being jealous of you, Krystal." My head pops up as I wait for her to continue. "I did all of this, because I was jealous. You had everything. I had nothing. I was a broken girl with broken dreams. Now, I am not asking for your sympathy, or even to forget everything. I am just asking to start over. I am not this hateful bitch that I made myself out to be. I built this wall when I was 5 years old. I lived in a small house with six other sisters, and my mom." I could see the sadness flood her eyes when she brought up her mother. "I always felt alone and hated, so I thought if I could be this bad-ass bitch then no one will use me. I was wrong. I pushed away the people that actually cared about me." Everyone stayed silent, until Grayson said, "I forgive you, but you are going to have to prove to me that you have changed." Ethan and I nodded in agreement with Grayson, while Nolan kept his head down. "I will. You have my word. Thank you." Ethan looks at Nolan, "Nolan?" He looks up at Anastasia. "I don't know if I am ready to forgive you, yet." He said without emotion. Anastasia looked down and nodded, "I understand. I hope someday you will forgive me."

Nolan nodded and said, "Looking forward to it." He gave a small smile. She smiled wildly at him. I look at Grayson and he mouthed to me, "Go." I look at him confused. He rolled his eyes and looked between me and Nolan. "Umm, Nolan?" He looked at me confused. "Yeah?" I start playing with my fingers. "Can we talk, like alone?" He looked at me confused, but nodded.

We left the other three at the table, while we walked over to the walking trail around the park. We walked silently down the path, until Nolan broke the silence. "What's up? What did you need to talk about?" I start playing with my hair, why am I so nervous? "Nolan, I umm." He stopped and looked at me confused. He brings his hand to my face, "Are you okay?" I don't say anything, but I put our lips together. The sparks took over us and he kissed back immediately. We finally break away from the kiss, and we look each other in the eye. "Where did that come from?" He was blushing and trying to catch his breath. "Nolan, I love you." I said and started blushing. A smile grew across his face. "What did you just say?" I smile at him as I start blushing. "I love you." He pulled me into his chest. "I love you, too, Krystal." I look up at him. He puts a piece of hair behind my ear, and sadness filled his face. "What about Grayson? I thought, you too were together?" I shook my head. "I had to break up with him, because my heart already belonged to someone else." He looked confused, "And, who might that be?" I roll my eyes. "You. Nolan. My heart belongs to you." He picked me up and twirled me around. "In that case, Krystal, will you be my girlfriend?" He put me down and looked me in the eyes, again, waiting for my reply. "Hmm." I say as I tap my chin. "Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend!"
