*Seb's point of view*
As I saw Lewis pulling (Y/N) out of the door from the balcony, I only had one thought... FUCK. How had I managed to mess up my one chance so bad? I'd been waiting for this moment for years! My body slouched onto the balcony railings as I saw Kimi strolling towards me. "I always told you that it wouldn't go well," he chuckled sadly. Kimi, my rock and my outsider informant seeing as (Y/N) was so close to Minttu. I sighed. Even though I had a new teammate this year, I could still rely on him to give me the worst advice.
Well that was that - my night was as good as over. The night air hadn't sobered me up as much as I had liked, and I felt myself stumbling as I re-entered the club, wanting to retrieve my coat and take a long, calming walk home - long enough for me to forget how it felt to hold (Y/N) in my arms.
"This one yours?" Kimi asked, holding up my jacket. I nodded, far off in my thoughts.
"If I could just get her away for one second, I'd have a chance... I know it. I'm obsessed. I can't stop thinking about her. Every race is torture until I get in the car and I can just fucking forget about her for 5 minutes!" I rambled, my drunk tongue tripping over my words as I philosophised. I could see Kimi laughing to himself as I babbled. Smug bastard. But before I could make a sarcastic comment, I felt my collar being tugged backwards. "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU. STAY AWAY FROM HER!" The words sounded like bullets in my ears and I struggled to regain balance as I spun around, arms whirling in all directions to come face to face with my rival.
"What are you gonna do? Hit me?" I laughed.
And he did.The blow to my jaw knocked me sideways but I didn't waste any time in landing a punch that was pretty weak, but enough to leave a mark. Kimi pulled us apart as Mercedes chief Toto marched through the door, obviously aware of the situation. He didn't say a word to me, but pulled Lewis back out of the door. As Kimi led me in the same direction and out down the Monaco streets towards our hotel, I saw (Y/N) and Lewis returning to theirs, just across from the club. My night was well and truly over. But a few more drinks to calm my nerves wouldn't go amiss once we got back to the hotel, I thought.
