Finding Something True Tom Hiddleston x Reader

(A/N) Hi so this is my first x reader so I hope its good and hope you'll like it 😁 

also (y/n) is your name,(y/l/n)is your last name, (e/c) is eye color, (H/c) hair color, (f/b) favorite book and you know if i add anymore i will put them in the beginning of the chapter

You were walking down the street reading (f/b). You wanted to catch up on some reading. You were so into the book you bumped into a man who was also distracted by his phone. As you both bumped into each other you lost a grip on your book.

"Oh I'm so sorry ma'am" he apologized and bent down to pick up your book
"N-no it's ok I-I wasn't paying attention" you stutter you don't talk much to people and this is probably the most social you've been all week other than your best friend going over to your house for movie night.

The man got back up and stared at your book
"Is this book good?" He said I didn't mention he had a really hot British accent
"W-Well so far it is, I just started reading and I really like it" you kept explaining it but felt weird because he still didn't look up and he kept looking to the side
"Well that's good I read a book similar to this I really liked it" he said after you finished and finally looked up at you

His eyes were so blue you kinda lost yourself in them. He had amazing hair and well pretty much all of his face was amazing.

You stared at him for a while because he just laughed and boy did that laugh melt your heart.

" Are you ok miss?" He chuckled as he asked 
"Oh yeah uhh sorry I got a bit distracted" you felt your face heat up
"I- Im (y/n)(y/l/n) by the way" you stuck out your hand for a hand shake
"I'm Tom" he shook your hand and smiled

He seemed kind of familiar like you had seen him in a movie or something but you didn't care much because he was HOT.  You stared at each other for a minute still holding hands when you decided to let go.
"Umm I was- I was wondering if you'd like to go to dinner with me" he asked you he was nervous and you tell by the way he scratched his head. You looked at him shocked it's been a while since you went on a date
"Umm sure" your face burned more than it did before "I guess we need to give each other our numbers right?" You chuckled
"Oh yes that would be better or we wouldn't be able to go on the date" he joke
You exchange numbers say goodbye and walk away.

You were starting to get back to your book when it finally hit you. THAT WAS TOM FREAKING HIDDLESTON!!

You turned around with a big 'O' shaped mouth  and pointed back at him you were freaking out because you of all the people in the world just got asked out by Tom Hiddleston. You decided not to say anything all you thought was "I'm not throwing away my shot "   So you just went back to reading

Tom's POV 

I was trying to hide from the paparazzi I really wasn't in the mood to be seen today but I needed something from the cafe near my hotel so I went quickly and left. On my way back I got distracted someone was texting me when I checked it was tiny Tom wondering if he could spend some time with me. I really like the kid he's nice and always makes me laugh so I said yes and that I was on my way back to the hotel. We kept texting for a bit he kept calling me uncle Loki and I simply call him tiny Tom and sometimes spider kid.  

I was in the middle of sending Tom a text that I was almost home when I crashed into a woman reading a book. "Oh I'm so sorry ma'am" I apologized and I leaned down to pick up her book. "N-no it's ok I-I wasn't paying attention" she stuttered I think I scared her. I got back up and stared at the book not her the book I didn't want her to see me so I hoped she didn't recognize my voice

"Is this book good?" I asked. I once read a book similar to the one she had, I really liked it . I didn't look even though I really wanted too. 
"W-Well so far it is, I just started reading and I really like it." She explained I could tell she was somehow nervous. 
"Well that's good I read a book similar to this I really liked it" I answered finally looking up. I knew it probably wasn't a good idea but I wanted to see her face and when I did all I thought was "wow shes beautiful" 

A minute passed and all she did was stare. I was kind of scared because I thought she knew who I was but I guess not. All I could do was laugh
"Are you ok miss" I chuckled                           "Oh yeah uhh sorry I got a bit distracted" her face was red as she answered 
"I- Im (y/n)(y/l/n) by the way" she stuck her hand out 
"I'm Tom" I smiled and shook her hand. 

We stared at each other for about a minute our hands still connected until she decided to let go. My mind kept yelling at me but I tried to ignore it as I got lost in her eyes. It kept yelling "COME ON TOM PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER SHES BEAUTIFUL GROW A PAIR AND ASK HER OUT THIS IS YOUR ONLY CHANCE YOU MIGHT NEVER SEE HER AGAIN" I finally got in my right mind and asked her out.  
"Umm I was- I was wondering if you'd like to go to dinner with me" I scratched the back of my head as I asked. I was really nervous and I guess she could tell but she had a shocked look on her face.
"Umm sure" her face red just like it was before
"I guess we need to give each other our numbers right?" she chuckled   
"Oh yes that would be better or we wouldn't be able to go on the date" I joked 

we exchanged numbers said goodbye and walk away.  I couldn't help but look back at her and smile though she wasn't looking. I couldn't wait to tell my Tiny Tom this. 

"OH SHIT TOM I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HOME 5 MINUTES AGO!"  I thought and ran back to my hotel

Hey guys I hope you liked this. Its my first time writing an X READER so I hope I did ok I know its not perfect but as I said its my first time so yeah. Anyways the school year is starting here and that means i wont have that much time to write but when I do I promise I'll try and update, but seeing as I only have 5 days I'll start working on the next part this week so dont worry the new chapter will be up soon. HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK !!
