"Jae, come here." Finn pulled Jaedens arm into the hallway, leaving the others, including Lottie to talk amongst themselves. "I wasn't planning on doing this. But I don't think I can wait much longer." "Finn what the hell are you talking about?" "I'm gonna tell Lottie, you know." "Oh. It's about time. How are you planning on telling her?" Jaeden was happy his friend was finally being honest with him. "That's what I need your help with"

"Guys!!" Jaeden couldn't wait to execute the plan he formulated minutes ago. "Let's go to the fair tomorrow! Someone text the others." Jacks eyes lit up, "No wAY i lovE the fair!!" "Oh great, you'll be extra hyper then." Sophia and Jack's energy levels tend to often contradict eachother. The plan was set pretty quickly, Jaeden and Finn exchanged glances. They were both thinking the same thing, what could possibly go wrong?

The fair was going well, Lottie and Finn had been enjoying each other's company all day. Jack had already managed to eat two cotton candies and seven hot dogs, yet he still wanted more food. The group decided to take a breather and sat down at a picnic table. A couple minutes passed of Finn sitting in silence, contemplating if he should go through with this or not, when Jaeden nudged him. "Fucking go dude, it's now or never."

"Hey Lottie, come here for a second." "Ok, what's up?" The two walked a decent distance from the others so there was no chance of them eavesdropping. "I've been thinking lately. I really like spending time with you, and being friends with you has made me the happiest i've ever been. I thought I should let you know... I have fe-" Finn was cut off by Jack sprinting over. "Guys guys! You have to try this ice cream, it's insane," of course, Jack being Jack, he tripped over his shoelaces and spilled all over Finn. "Dude are you fucking serious?" "Oh.. I'm so sorry, wait. Were you guys about to kiss or something?" "No jACK!" Lottie and Finn spoke in unison. "Ok then, I'll just walk away now."

"Jesus i'm so sorry, he's insane." "Finn you don't have to apologize," at this point Lottie was laughing, "What were you going to say before anyways?" Finn cleared his throat, he almost forgot he was about to tell Lottie that he liked her. "Oh nothing, I was just saying i've feLT like we should, uh, watch movies for a while now..? Wanna do that tonight with everyone?" "Uhh yeah I guess so.. Is that really what you were gonna ask?" "Yeah, sorry. We should probably get back to them now." Placing his hand on her back the two walked back to the table.

Jaeden and Finn lay awake on their air mattress. "I swear Jaeden, if Jack hadn't come over I would've done it." They were whispering to eachother, due to the fact that it was almost 3 in the morning and didn't want anyone else to hear. "Well what are you gonna do now?" "I don't know man. I'll think about it."
Jaeden rolled his eyes at his friend, "You better think quickly or i'm going to lose my mind."
