"Dark Magician, Black Magic Attack!" I said as I was Dueling with my best friend, Joey Wheeler.
"No!" Joey said as his life points dropped to zero. "Oh man, I almost had you, Yugi!"
I chuckled softly. "Well, better luck next time, Joey..."
I heard Tristen Taylor, my other best friend, sighed with a smile, though I can't tell if he was smiling that I won or smiling that Joey lost to me again.
"Can't you just give up, Joey? I mean, there's no way that you can beat Yugi!" Tristen said.
"Shut it, Tristen! I almost had him, but I didn't use my Red Eyes Black Dragon, yet!" Joey said as he glared at him.
"But like Yugi said, better luck next time, Joey" Ryou Bakura said, smiling.
"Yugi and Bakura are right, though I have agree with with Tristen" Duke Devlin said with a cocky smile, "you can't beat Yugi since he is the King of Games."
"I can too beat him in a Duel!" Joey insisted.
Bakura and I just chuckled at them as they started arguing again, though it doesn't surprise me at all.
I took a deep breath, while looking at the sky. It's been three years...
Three years since we all last seen Pharaoh Atem, but sometimes I call him Yami. Even though he's back with his friends and family, I still couldn't stop thinking about him.
I dueled against him and I won, and it was really bittersweet because I'll never him again, but I did see him, and I was happy, but I let him go back to the afterlife.
One day... when I pass on, I'll get to see him, I thought, promising myself that I'll still believe in the Heart of the Cards.
I looked at Joey, Tristen, Duke, and Bakura as Bakura and Duke are trying to prevent Joey and Tristen from killing each other, and I shook my head.
Ever since Tèa Gardner, my childhood friend, left for New York, things have gotten lively and loud since there's just me, Joey, Tristen, Duke and Bakura, even though it's only been a month since she left Domino City.
I looked away for a moment before seeing a familiar figure... wearing... the same outfit as me?!
I gasped quietly as I walked a bit farther away from my aguring friends.
I looked at the figure more clearly now. He looks like me, wearing the same outfit as me, and even though I've gotten a bit taller, he's still a bit taller than me.
"Pharaoh? Atem?" I said softly.
As he nodded with a smile, he gave me a thumbs up. I blinked my violet purple eyes before reopening them again, and just as quickly as he appeared, he was gone.
Was I... daydreaming? I thought before shaking my head, No! I wasn't daydreaming... I saw him!
I was surprised that no one ask me if I was okay, because once I looked back at Joey, Tristen, Duke, and Bakura, they're still arguing with Bakura and Duke trying to break Joey and Tristen, who are both strangling each other.
They will never grow up..., I thought, but I couldn't stop thinking about what I saw.
...
"See ya, tomorrow, Yugi!" Joey said as we all depart ways.
Already it was evening, so I have to get home quick, though I was debating whether or not tell Grandpa who I saw. I didn't tell Joey and the others about it.
