Specimen 124(italicize later) the small white sign said, a large metal door to the left of it. On the opposite side of the glass wall, was a woman who seemed close to my age. I glanced at the small white sign again. "Sasha De Luca"(italicize later) it read "Age: 24"(italicize later) . We were three years apart I'm age, I being twenty one. Sasha was sitting in a corner, and was clearly nervous, as she hadn't had contact with the testing liquid yet. She looked at me, her green eyes seeming to plead for help to me.
For the first time in a while, it felt like my heart had been stabbed. I simply shrugged the feeling off, and continued to patrol the halls. This was my job. Just make sure none of the test subjects escape, or that nobody is hurt. For the time I've been here, it's been pretty peaceful, besides Specimen 988.
Specimen 988 was a middle aged man who escaped after coming into contact with the testing liquid. He hasn't been back seen since, which caused disturbance in the laboratories from the scientists.
