First setting: Southern California, 2028. Pluto attends a large University. Consists of multiple buildings, each with several stories and a few smaller buildings. A large park sits between the university and the apartment complex where Pluto lives.
Main setting: Fantasy world. Some technology exists, but mostly early 1800s style era. Main characters live in the town of Grimoire. Large town, in the center is a mansion belonging to malachite's father. Corrupted knights roam the streets. Grimoire town lies on the border of the country, Persephone. Most of the country is forest and mountains. Towns are surrounded by metal walls to keep dangerous beasts out. Those in the underworld have in the past used spells to alter wildlife in order to bring dispair to the land on Persephone.
The underworld: black fog begins near the border of Persephone. Further in the fog is a cliff that drops down for what seems like eternity. A single rope bridge leads into the dark. A labrynth of stone walls and rose bushes surrounds a volcano-like structure. Within it lies a black castle.
