A female voice caught her attention when she was walking through the hallways. Jihyun stopped after hearing a specific room number from one of their mouths. "That patient from Room 191?" one of the voice spoke.
It was her patient's room, so Jihyun listened to their conversation making it less obvious."He was flirting with me," another person giggled.
"That patient is so hot."
This time, Jihyun turned around and noticed that those voices were of two nurses, but they didn't notice her presence. The doctor chose to leave the place and walked straight to her one and only patient's room.
"Everything is ready. Let's go," she said and slightly bent her knees. Jungkook happily wrapped his arm around her neck and she helped him get into a wheelchair.
The doctor brought him to a large, dark room. She turned on the lights and pushed his wheelchair into the room. "This is your first time, so we will do it here. Next time I'll bring you outside," she said and walked to bring crutches for him.
The doctor instructed her patient about do's and don'ts while trying to walk for the first time. "Hold me tight," she said.
Not surprised when Jungkook wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly. No lies, his action affected her. "Can you stand by holding my waist?" she asked and he looked up.
"I don't want to walk if you'll let me hug you like this forever," he said still holding her waist. "Stop this. It makes me want to puke." She hit his head and he finally let go of her waist.
With a pout on his face, he held the doctor like she asked and tried to stand up. She handed him crutches and he held it but feared to walk. "Trust me." Jihyun convinced him and he tried to walk.
It was hard for him but her company and directions helped him a lot. "Hold my hand?" Jihyun brought her right hand forward. He tried to grab it but she slowly stepped back.
Jungkook frowned and tried to walk towards her using crutches. Soon enough, she hit her back against the wall and stopped.
A huge smile formed across her face watching her patient improving a lot in the first attempt. Leaning her back against the wall, she waited for him to reach to her.
Meanwhile, Jungkook struggled to walk and he finally reached there. As soon as he did, he tiredly leaned his body against her, pinning her against the wall. "J-Jungkook," The doctor tried to escape but he trapped her against the wall.
"Thank you," he whispered near her ear and a shiver went down her spine. "L-Let me go." She gulped.
Jihyun didn't even try to push him and let him lean against her since she was well aware of his condition. Also, he already threw the crutches away, so it was dangerous for him.
"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" he suddenly asked a question which was out of the topic. "N-No." She stuttered and a smirk crept across his face.
Not even leaving an inch for the passage of air between their bodies, she was pinned against the wall by him. Faces inches apart, their breath hitched together.
Soon enough, she remembered the conversation the nurses had.
"I heard you were flirting with a nurse," she asked in a whisper and he simply smiled at her words. "Flirting is a common act, isn't it?" he asked, still pressing his body against her.
Her heart was racing and he could feel it against his chest. "Even you flirt at times. Tell me if I'm wrong, doctor." Those words of his made her think for a while.
And he was right.
"I'm sorry. I was only trying to state the fact that you are beautiful," he said and noticed a change in the color of her cheeks. They turned into a light shade of pink.
Flashing a wide smile, he leaned back and tried to walk but ended up on the floor. The doctor finally got to breathe properly but, "Jungkook!" She helped him to stand up and grabbed her arm to wrap it around her shoulder.
"It pains," he said, scrunching his nose. "Of course, it does. You stupid." She glared at him and he nervously looked away.
"Did you cut my leg?" Jungkook suddenly asked. "My one leg is shorter," he stated, making her burst out in a laugh. "Yeah, I cut your leg and attached it to mine," She played along with him.
Slowly and carefully, she brought him to his wheelchair. "This much for today. Let's go back," she said and pushed him out of the large room.
Those two were back to his room. "You are recovering really fast. You might get discharged sooner," she said and sat beside him in the bed. "What? No! No! No!" He continuously shook his head.
His reaction was as expected. "You are cute." She giggled. And she was slowly starting to enjoy his company and he was well aware of it.
Someone opened the door and both of them turned around. "Jun-" the nurse stopped when she saw them. Jungkook gulped after seeing the nurse there but tried his best not to show his nervousness. "Yes?" Jihyun asked, raising her eyebrows.
Minsu gave them a nervous smile. "Sorry, I came to a wrong room." She bowed at the doctor and left the room. "Isn't she the nurse from the elevator?" Jihyun asked him and he nervously nodded.
"You like her?" she asked, scanning his expression. "No." He shook his head.
No idea why was she happy after hearing his words. A smile formed across his face as she got off the bed.
"Take your medicine. I'll come." She was about of walk when Jungkook stopped her. "Where are you going?" he asked her. "Restroom," she said and walked away.
As soon as the doctor was gone, a message popped on his phone. He grabbed his phone and read the message.

A click was heard and he immediately shoved the phone into his pocket before the door opened. Jihyun walked to him and sat beside him.
"You didn't take your medicine?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest after she saw it was still on the table. He let out a nervous smile before speaking.
"I was waiting for you."
