Today is the week. The week that i think my life's over. I checked the time on my phone. "7:30?!," i yelped. "Dear god, it's so early," i cried. I eventually pulled myself out of bed and got ready. After brushing my teeth, mum brought me the uniform from downstairs. I opened up the packaging and..i'm dead.

A long sleeved white shirt, a plaid navy blue skirt that's up to your knees, a blue tie with yellow stripes, the school's navy blue blazer with the school's logo embroided on it and a stupid white knee- high socks. "Are you joking, mum?," i squeaked, "Thi-this can't be for real. I can't look like i just came out of the 1800's," i complained. "Oh, you look lovely and so smart in that attire! I'm so proud of you and your brother!," mum said with cheerfullness.

I got myself dressed in the stupid uniform and walked down stairs to eat breakfast. "Good morning, Fifi," dad said dipping his spoon into the bowl again. "Ugh, please dad. I'm not five anymore. I'm Fiona," i said with a sigh. Liam came down the stairs just after me.

He was wearing grey trousers, white ankle socks, a white long sleeves shirt underneath his navy blue blazer and blue tie with yellow stripes. "Man, i feel sorry for you Fiona. Look at you!," Liam said chuckling, i just pulled my tounge at him.

"Okay, kids. The taxi's going to pick you up shortly so get yourselves ready. Make sure you've got your bags, all your equipment and clothes," mum said in a small panicky voice. "Your mother and i are going to be so lonely without you two in the house, now that you're gone," dad said in a relieved voice. Beep Beep. "Well i guess the taxi's here. We better be off, i guess," Liam said picking up his luggage.

Liam and I waited out in the porch until the drive came and helped us to load the luggage into the taxi car. We waved mum and dad goodbye and then we were off. I felt like i had a huge lump in my throat as we were reversing out the driveway. I was feeling very nervous. "Are you scared?," i asked Liam, "Yeah, a lot. We'd never really been away form mum and dad before, it feels really weird, " Liam replied.

The driver pulled up at the train station. Liam gave her the money and we walked into the station so confused and so lost. "Hey, look at the sign. Our train's departing in 5!," Liam pointed out. "OMG, yeah!," i squeaked, "We're gonns miss our train if we don't run!," i added bolting off with my luggage behind me.

After climbing like two sets of stairs and getting our tickets confirmed, we took the lift down to Platform no. 2. After running with bags that weighed like tonnes, Liam and i needed a break!

We sat on one of the benches with out luggage and waited until the train arrived. As i was peacefully on my phone, i realised another Heiderfield student was next to me. "Hey, is this the right train to Heiderfield?,"i asked the girl with the school's uniform. "Yeah, i think it's about to come in like three minutes. Oh, by the way, i'm Emily Von Francis," Emily introduced. "Oh, hi. My name's Fiona Waters and i'm here with my twin brother Liam..unfortuantely," i said.

"Are you nervous?," she asked, "No, not really. I mean since i'm going to have to go to school with my brother, yeah, i'm so terrified,"i replied rolling my eyes.

The train finally arrived at the station. Liam, Emily and i picked up our bags and found an empty compartment, which where we dumped our bags into. As soon as i out mybags down, i plopped onto the red, velvet seats.

"I'm hungry," Liam compained. "I think the food cart will come around soon,Liam," Emily explained. "I'm going to go to the toilet," i said opening the compartment door. The train was rumming through the mountains. The view of Heiferfield from the tall bridge over a smal canyon was breath-taking! It was so beautiful!

When i returned, Liam was inside the compartment, fast asleep, but no sign of Emily. I wonder where she went off to. She had left her backpack and there was something hanging out of it. I looked around for any signs of Emily and decided to look through her bag..
