I zipped open her backpack to find a red, leather notebook. Oh, so a simple diary. It had the name: Emileen Von Frances embroided in gold. I felt super guilty, but i couldn't help myself.
I opened the first page and found beautiful drawings. Drawings of flowers, girls with long hair, dresses and many other things. It was beautiful. I flipped over to another page, it had a picture of a woman with two babies. The woman had long brown hair, pale skin, freckles and green eyes.
But before i could keep reading, i heard Emily's (or should i say 'Emileen's') footsteps approaching. I shoved the book back into her backpack and pretended to go back and sat down.
"Hey, oh you're back," she said entering the compartment. "Hi, i didn't see you there. Where did you go?," i asked, "Oh, umm..I was in the toilet," she muttered.
The train eventually came to a halt. We had reached the station. "Wake up, Liam!," i said shaking him gently. "We're here," i added. "What, already?," he said sleepily rubbing his eyes. As soon as the doors opened, the train's carriages emptied like crazy! Everyone from Heiderfield swarmed through the station. Others, not associated with Heiderfield looked shocked to see such a swarm of just Heiderfield students.
When we got out the station, the school's coach was waiting for us. It was a prestigious coach. It was blue, has two floors, from the outside it seemed like it had leather seats and even a toilet?! As Liam and Emily were catching up with me walking through the parking lot towards the coach, I saw a student on the concrete. It looked as if though he had dropped his luggage and books.
He had brown eyes and dark skin, much like of an African descent. I stopped to help him with his books and equipment. "Hey, want some help with that?," I asked politely grabbing his numerous Physics books. "Sorry, I tripped over my bag and I fell head first with my books and all," he explained. After seeing me and the other guy on the floor, Liam and Emily jogged towards us also helping the guy with his stuff. He had a lot of stuff! "You alright there, mate?," Liam asked calmly giving his hand to help the dude up.
"Yeah, i'm fine. I just recently got off a flight from England and this is my first time here in Australia. I recieved an International Scholarship fortuantely," he said, "Oh, sorry i forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ashden Collins," Ashden introduced, "I'm Fiona Waters and this is my brother Liam and our friend, Emily Von Frances," i intoduced.
We all helped gather Ashden's belongings and started walking to the bus, hoping that it wouldn't leave without us.
As soon as we were a metre away from the door of the bus, we got pushed aside and three girls entered the bus instead. "Hey, we were about to get on!," i yelled, "Sorry, no losers allowed in Heiderfield," the girl said. She had blonde hair and the same blue eyes like Em. Actually, she looked very similar to her! What a coincidence!
As soon as the trio of girls got in, the buses door suddenly slammed in our faces as we were about to get on.
I was furious. I couldn't believe the bus that we were supposed to BE ON drove without us. We were all devastated. With our jaws hanging low, we watched the coach zoom away from the station without us.
I turned to the others dropping my bags onto the concrete parking lot, "What are we gonna do now?"...
