Chapter 1

*School bell rings*

"Okay, class! Remember to study for that quiz on Thursday," Mrs. Smith says.

*In the hallway*

"Hey Dianna," Rudy greeted me.

"Hey Rudy," I replied, giving him a slight wave.

"Uhh, I've been thinking about that kiss the other day," he scratches the back of his neck.

"Yea, um, about that," I hopefully said, without much attitude.

At that moment Rachel, a friend of ours, jumped in.

"Hey guys!" She greets overly excited.

Rudy and I both said, "Hey!"

And with a big smile on Rachel's face, she interrupted, and handed both Rudy and I a flyer for a party which she was throwing.

Rachel was known as the girl who created the best parties in school.

"Here's a flyer to my party on Friday. Hope you both can make it. See u later".

Rudy and I both said "bye".

"You going?", Rudy asked.

"Does it matter?", I said.

"No but would you be my plus one?", he asked.

"Ummm, excuse me, you do know you have a gf right?".

"Yeah, but she won't be able to make it."

"I'll think about it", I replyed.

I told Rudy that we had to talk later because I had to get to class. And he said, 'ok'.

We both said our goodbyes and left to class.

I've known Rudy for awhile now. We kinda kissed at my house when he came over to study. Rachel is his best friend and I think she likes Rudy but is hiding it. The funny thing though is that Rudy and Kiara are dating. I don't want to shut Rudy out or anything it's just that, I don't feel that way for him.

*Lunch time*

At lunch I sat at a table alone because I didn't feel like talking to anyone. I took out my iPhone, plugged my head phones in, and listened to my music loudly. I didn't want to be bothered.

A couple seconds later Rudy pops up. I was a little frighten because he came out of no where. He sat next to me. When I looked at him I saw a little smirk on his face. I couldn't resist smiling back. It was awkward because about forty minutes ago were were having a conversation about our little kissing session which ment nothing to me.

'Why are u here', I asked in a mean way. He said he just wanted to talk to a friend. I was curious because he was acting really strange. How could his mood have changed so fast?

He said he had a surprise for me and I asked what it was. "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told u what it was would it?", he said. I wasn't in the mood for games, but I was curious....
