Chapter 3

....I couldn't believe my eyes. Rudy brought a pretzel truck to tell me something. I wondered what it was. We got our pretzel's and sat at the fountain.

I was really surprised because I never thought Rudy would remember the first day we met; we went to the park with our parents. I told my mom I wanted a pretzel and I saw him on the line. Next thing I know we were neighbors and I started going to school with him.

Then there comes the the thing Rudy wanted to tell me.

"So, the thing is, I broke up with Kiara", he said.

I wasn't surprised because they had that big fright, but I couldn't let him know I knew about that fight.

I gasped and said, "wow!". With a fake surprised face.

"Yea", he said. "I was wondering..."

With his hands on my thigh.

Of course I loved the moment but I kept lying to myself.

Removing his hands off my thigh I said, "Look I know where this is going, but I'm not interested in you that way.

"Ummm, I was just asking if you would help me study for that test Friday."

He was joking right?
I felt stupid at first but then he was leaning towards me.
I just knew he was leaning for a kiss.

I pushed him and he fell in the fountain. I couldn't stop myself from dying out in laughter.

"Can I get a little help?, please!."

He said in anger.

Next thing I know, I'm in the water with him. I can't lie it was kinda fun. We laughed at each other for a couple minutes then started to dry off.

I told myself I wouldn't stay for long but I was actually having fun with him. It was getting dark so I went back to my car and gave Rudy a ride home.

Although we lived next to each other.

*Arriving in my garage*

We told each other good night and then headed inside our homes.

*The next day*

At lunch Rudy and I couldn't stop staring at each other. I think he's starting to know how I really feel about him.

I didn't want to feel that way because I was scared he would try to hurt me like he hurt Kiara.

On that day she came up to me to warn me about something. She was wearing shades so I couldn't really see her eyes that well. But she was calm and apologized for causing me for trying to take Rudy away from her.

*Foot steps approaching me*

"Hey, hey, hey!" I heard a voice spoke loudly beside me. It was Rachel.

"What's up!", I replied.

"So did you decide weather or not you'll be coming tomorrow tonight?"

"Yea, sure, I'll be there."

*Another foot step approaches me and Rachel*

It was Sasha. {Classmate; a friend}

"Hey guys", she said.

Rachel and I replied with a hey back.

"So Dianna you wanna go to that party on Friday with me?"

I only said yes to Sasha because she needed a ride and she always had my back.

Anyways, I started to daydream a little .....................................................

"...hello.....hello.....Dianna......Dianna.........Dianna!!!".

Rachel kept calling my name.

"Oh sorry my bad", I said with a smile. "What were we talking about again?"

"Never mind", Rachel said. She rolled her eyes, got up, and went to class because the bell rang.

Sasha asked me for a favor. I asked what it was. She gave me a note with an address and a phone number.

She then whispered in my ear. She told me that she knew how Kiara was trying to turn everyone against me and told me that I would love this evidence about Kiara.

I thought to myself that I had probably finally found Kiara's big secret.
