Chapter 2

"Melliii you're gonna be late for school" I groaned rolling off the bed, hitting my head I realized my dad was right. I ran to the bathroom to freshen up. Picked out a short demeaned pants with a black and white strip top with a matching adidas boots. I ran downstairs in a hurry passing my dad headed for the door.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?"

"Sorry dad Melissa is picking me up in a few"

"Ohh I see you meet a new friend"

"Yea I'll tell you all about it when I get back" I said kissing him on the cheeks.

"Hey girl" I said jumping in the car 

"Ouuu you look nice "

"Thanks " I said 

We sang and laugh on or way to school. Finally reached there was jake leaning on his car with a chick kissing all over him but as usual starring at me, I just rolled my eyes and continued walking. 

"Hey pretty girl what's your name?"

"Ugh, it's Melanie and yours?"

"Jacob" he said with a smile

"Oh you're one of Jake's minion" I said rolling my eyes  "Look you seem nice but I am not interested sorry,,, "

"Hey I wasnt asking for you to be I just wanna be friends"

"And why would a player like you wanna be friends with me?

"Who said I was a player?"

"No one didn't had to tell me I - "

"Just give me a chance or us to be friends and prove it to you" he said cutting me off

It was now lunch and lisa and I had just arrived when someone called out my name I turned around to see it was jacob.

"Come sit with us"

 Lisa grabbed my hand without even waiting for me to respond. Justin and kristin were already there. Seems like they were friends before. Oh shit  i forgot Justin is also on the football team. There was another guy there I had never seen before, then there was jake again with another girl on his lap this time was rebecca. 

"Ugh, what is she doing here. Hey nerdie the nerd section is over there, or if there is not enough room for you you could just eat in the toilet."

"Just ignore her" lisa told me 

"So melanie how do you like he school so far ?" jacob said breaking the silence 

"It's good so far, just have a lot of stuck up people" i said causing the random boy to choke on his soda.

"Take your time Kyle" Ohhh so it's kyle he's cute..... Ugh meli i cant believe you just thought of that.

"It's funny how you think it has so much stuck up people when you're suck up too" I recognized that was jake's voice 

"Excuse me?"

"Okaayyyyy why dont we change the topic" interrupted jacob 

"I have to go now" I said wanting to leave the table. Idk why one time he is so nice to me then another moment he is so mean. I was in my own world thinking until I bumped into someone

"Hey you stupid bitch watch were you're going"

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you there"

"Yea ofc you didnt" the tall person said, pushing me to the ground. I looked up from where I was to see I was surrounded by a gang of boys  enclosing me.
