I was up all night thinking about what jake said. I was confused did he like me? What no he could never like with the way he treats me he is more into girls like slutty Rebecca. I wonder how Jacob is doing he seemed like a nice guy and he was cute, but not as cute as jake. Ugh!!! Whyyy can't I get my mind of jake. My thoughts kept wondering about as I tried to fall asleep.
"Mellll you're gonna be late for school!" I heard my dad scream from downstairs as I groaned forcing myself out of bed.
"I'm almost ready " I yelled back rolling my eyes. I didn't have time to pick sometime nice out so I just wore a crop top with a high waist short pants and I left my hair down.
I ran downstairs "bye dad" Lisa was already in front my house. Same time I stepped outside jake was leaving. He pretended like I was even there seems like he was in a pretty bad mood .
"What was that about ?" Lisa asked as I got in the car.
I frowned and raise my eyebrow "no morning or how are you doing Mel?"
"Morning Mel what was that about" she asked persistently .
"What was what?" I asked pretending to not know what she was talking about.
"Oh don't play dumb the tension between you two"
"There wasn't any tension, we both know how moody jake can be" I said still pretending.
"Uhuh so you say" she said with a smirk. I just rolled my eyes as we pulled into the school parking lot.
"See you at lunch" she said before walking off. Great so now I have no classes today with Mel or Justin and Kristine. Both periods are with jake and Rebecca how wonderful! Just as i enter the class Rebecca and her stupid girls gang were in my seat talking about obviously boys.
"Jake asked me to come over tonight we all know what gon- " you're in my seat" I said interrupting her.
"Oh in case you didn't know losers and nerds sit over there" she said pointing to the back with a smirk.
"Oops I'm sorry I forgot the front were set for the sluts how can I be so foolish to not remember" I said walking away. She give me a death glare and was about to respond when sir walked into the class.
"Good morning class today we are looking at sociology and the-" he stopped when jake walked into class late. I thought he left same time with me how is he late.
"And good morning to you too,why are you late for my class"
"Had business to deal with" he groaned back to sir.
"Well that is no excuse detention later" jake walked away rolling his eyes. Why is he coming towards me, then I realized there was an empty seat right next to me. Oh no!
"I will be giving you guys a group project to be completed in two weeks." Sir continued to pair students off.
"Rebecca with sam anddd Melanie you're with jake" sir said that caught my attention.
"Wait what!!" Me and jake said at the same time.
"I'd rather die than be partners with her" he mumbled easily. I shifted in my seat after hearing what he jus said. For some reason that hurt. But I knew this project would be hell.
Sorry for only updating now I've been busy with college and stuff.
