The July 31st edition of the Daily Prophet

The front page, an article written by E. Limus:

The Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, after a thorough investigation claims an american wizard, by the name of Nico di Angelo, was behind the conspiracies at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during this most recent school year. At the age of 16, the fugitive is a self-proclaimed Death Eater, declaring all of his crimes in the name of the Dark Lord. The Ministry, even though they are unable to release di Angelo's files to the press, has stated he is a highly dangerous individual.

It is just recent news that he was behind the deaths of a previously missing worker in the Department of Magical Games and Sports by the name of Bertha Jorkins, the Hogwarts Triwizard Champion Cedric Diggory, and the attempted murder of the Triwizard Champions Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Not only does he have a record of violence, but has also been a known accomplice in the plot to steal the identity of Auror Alastor Moody.

"The Ministry has the situation under control," states Percy Weasley, Junior Assistant to the Minister of Magic, "... But until Mr. di Angelo is detained, it is best to be on the lookout. Most of the authority suspects that he's behind other currently undetermined deaths-

Harry hadn't had the stomach to continue, and with a great amount of anger chucked the now crumpled wad of paper across his room. He wasn't usually one to read the Daily Prophet, believing most of it was a pile of rubbish, but with no communication from anyone recently, he was desperate.

In fact, so desperate he fished a hand into his pocket to retrieve Percy's golden drachma. It was a rather peculiar coin, and Harry was pretty sure it was actual gold, so he had made it a habit to carry the token wherever he went. Luckily, Dudley hadn't noticed it yet or else he probably would've tried to take it.

Then of course, his aunt and uncle would've found out too, declaring he had stolen it. It wasn't every day when he would turn up with a massive gold coin in his pocket.

He sighed, thumbing the coin nervously as his fingers felt the delicate engravings. It was beautiful craftsmanship. His eyes darted back towards the door, already thinking on how the shower could possibly make a good amount of steam, and with the window right there the lighting should be perfect-

"No!" he mentally chided himself, "I will not be some selfish prat who uses his only method of communication just because he's lonely."

And with a defeated sigh, slumped shoulders, and his head dipped low, he shuffled down the stairs and back outside. He had just recently found the perfect hiding place inside Petunia's flower bed where nobody should find him... Might as well make use of it.

He shut his bedroom door.

"Merlin's Beard, this is just perfect! Just what we needed!" Annabeth grumbled through gritted teeth, the newspaper held tightly in hand.

"Merlin? What the Hades does that even mean?" Malcolm's head emerged from the layers upon layers of blankets on his bed.

Annabeth shrugged, "Wizard slang, I guess. Must've picked up on it during our last quest or something..." She glanced back down at the article, and Nico's face, "Where's Percy?"

"How should I know? The lake, probably? You're his girlfriend..." Malcolm mumbled, squinting at the sunlight shining through the windows.

She shot him a glare, the newspaper now tucked in her arm as her hands were shut tightly into fists. Annabeth couldn't really blame him, but the subject had been slightly touchy recently.
