"Petunia, dear," Vernon kept on giving deadly glares back up towards the stairs, then bitterly back towards his wife, "Why did you let them stay? We should be calling the police!"

She slowly stood back up, brushing some of the ashes from the howler off her dress, decorated with a light-pink floral pattern. And in a quiet voice, joining her husband in glancing back up at the stairs, she replied, "I made a promise, Vernon. I have forgotten about it... before..."

Dudley began to moan in the chair, everyone seemingly forgetting he was there.

"Oh, my poor Diddykins!" Petunia rushed back towards his side, "Oh dear... " She placed the back of her hand over his forehead, "He's still very cold. Dear, we have to take him to the hospital..."

"Yes, my boy, you've gone through quite a lot today..." Vernon shuffled towards the door, grabbing his coat. Then, the two parents hoisted Dudley onto his feet, and carried him to the car parked out front.

Mrs. Figg peered through her windows, watching the muggles shut the car doors.

Vernon started the car, gripping onto the steering wheel tightly, then turned back towards Petunia, "What about that friend of his? That girl? They said something about more of them coming..."

Petunia snorted, a very un-Petunia-like thing to do, "Do you really think somebody's going to break into the house? It's locked, and that wizard" she said the word with distaste "put up some barriers of some kind...

Nobody's coming."

"We came!"

It was silent for a moment, before Percy knocked again,

"Hello? Harry? Are you dead?"

The two demigods stood awkwardly at the Dursley's front door. Their luggage piled at their feet, light shining through from the windows both on the first and second floor. Obviously somebody was inside, but the two hadn't had any response.

Annabeth frowned.

Percy's shoulders slumped, reaching over to ring the doorbell as a last resort. It was silent for the next couple seconds as he pinched the bridge of his nose, scowling at himself.

"Hey..." Annabeth put a hand on his shoulder. Her first form of communication after overcoming the shock of their conversation in the taxi, "I... I understand."

His sea-green eyes lit up with hope, the slightest smile forming on his lips, "Really?-"

The door swung open.

Hazel's head tilted to the side, listening to the quiet and muffled sound of a car driving off. Harry had as well, speaking for the first time in the past couple minutes,

"They left. They must've taken Dudley to the doctor or something..."

"Oh... " Hazel mumbled, nodding her head, "Well, at least Percy and Annabeth should be here soon."

"How are they, by the way? Have they heard anything about the Order... or... whatever Mrs. Figg mentioned? What about Dumbledore-" the questions continued to ramble on before Hazel abruptly began to speak,

"They're fine... Annabeth's been working on her plans for Olympus," this caused Harry to have a mildly confused look on his face, obviously not understanding what that meant, "And Percy's been helping out at Camp Halfblood... It wasn't until Nico's article that we decided to help out... And besides, he still has his quest-"
