Walking down the halls of the Garrison I saw Shiro talking to Matt. I didn't know him well but I knew he was friends with Shiro. Next to them was someone in a dress. Stopping I walked backward to see who it was. A girl with long hazel colored hair (that is her color hair right?) she listened to the conversation and looked annoyed. She laughed at something and when she did she looked down at the floor and pulled her hair behind her ear so it was out of her face. Shiro started scanning the area so I tried to get away before "Keith! Come here there's someone I want you to meet!" Shiro yelled at me as I almost turned the corner. Stopping in my tracks I clenching my teeth.
Walking to them I faked my smile. "Hey, Keith. This is my little sister. Katie." Matt said gesturing to the girl. She smiled and reached her hand out. Tilting her head a little as I shook it she said; "Nice to meet you, Keith. You can call me Pidge." her voice was kind. I smiled I little but only nodded. Shiro said I could go back to what I was doing. Leaving the scene I realized that my heart was pounding. Matt was in half of my classes and Shiro said that because I had most the classes Katie would be having I would have to her before the first hour. I did and when I saw her she smiled locking eyes with me. I stopped breathing for a second but then my heart was beating to fast.
wow her hair is pretty. Wait what? No! What am I thinking?
Taking her to the first class we sat next to Lance and Hunk. Lance kept teasing us I just ignored (unlike Katie). Going to the next class I noticed her watching the floor as we walked. I stopped and she did too. "Hey, you okay?" She looked up and smiled. "Yes. You just don't talk to anyone. I mean I'm fine with it because I'm also an Introvert but I just feel weird following someone who doesn't stop and talk." she said. I felt as though I had done something wrong. "you didn't do anything wrong. I just thought that you talked a lot. Like that Lance guy. I'm happy you're not like that." she said as if reading my mind.
~Time Skip~
"Well, Pidge how did you like the day with Keith?" Matt asked at the end of the day. She just nodded. "Keith, you gonna ask her to go with you to the festival?" Shiro asked. I felt myself blush. Katie must have seen because she was giggling.
man she's cute I thought stopping myself as soon I a realized what I thought. "Yeah, Keith! Pidge wanna go to the festival with him?" Matt said. She nodded and smiled with her eyes closed.

That night we went to the festival together with Matt and Shiro talking to a group of people. Walking off we tried to get a good spot to see the fireworks. Sitting down I looked at Keith and leaned back on him. He wrapped his arms around me and I smiled feeling myself go red.
I wonder if he likes me. I like him. No Kaite! What are you thinking? I thought watching the fire go up in the sky and fall back down to earth. The night was amazing. But it went by so fast. The next day Matt, Dad, and Shiro went on a mission. It's been a week since then. Keith said not to worry. Cutting my hair and pretending to be male I promised myself to find my family. The first day I was disappointed to find out that I was with Lance. At least Hunk is cool. Later I found out Keith was no longer going to the school. (I'm going to be skipping a lot of things btw). Later that week Lance, Hunk, and I saw something fall to earth. Sneaking out we went to find out what it was. "Wait a minute. No, He is not getting there before me!" Lance said running down a hill. Hunk running after him I grabbed my stuff and yelled after them "Who?!"
"Keith!"
"Whose Keith?!" I shouted running towards them. When I heard the name I prayed that it would not be Keith Kogane. It was. He looked at me and I could tell he recognized me. It was almost as if he was saying to me 'Don't worry I'll keep your secret' I just nodded to him and he just smiled. Hunk was going through my bag looking for a snack. I grabbed the picture of me and my brother out of his hand. Thankful he didn't find the one other picture I took during the festival.

~Time Skip 1 month~
"Will you be my girlfriend Katie?" Keith asked me only Shiro around. Speechless I nodded and kissed him laughing.
~time skip Keith joining the Blade~
"We're gonna miss you so much!" I cried hugging him never wanting to let go. He left the room waving. The doors closing behind him. Shiro gave me a look that said GO! Running I saw him just getting onto the ship. Standing at the doorway I screamed at him. "Keith!" He stopped and turned around worried. "What!" He saw me and ran over to me so that I didn't have to yell. "Wait," I said almost in tears. "Why?" he said still worried a little. "I love you, you idiot!" I almost screamed. Kolivan was now standing at the entrance of the ship waiting. Keith grabbed me and went around the corner and kissed me. "Promise you won't forget me," I said crying. He smiled and gently dried my tears. "As you wish," he said and ran back to the ship waving.
~time skip Present Time~
"Will you marry me?" he asked me. I stared at him. The ring I hadn't looked at I just kept my gaze on his wonderful eyes. No words came out of my mouth. No thought went into my head. Breathing heavily I finally looked at the ring. It was amazing. The gem was a dark green emerald. Still, nothing happened. I finally answered him...
