Madi(POV)
I woke up and it was Sunday. I got up and I walked downstairs with bailey. I ate and my phone started ringing. It was Anthony
M- hello
A- can you come over to talk
M- uhh yeah now
A- sure
He hung up and I walked up. I got dressed into leggings and a sweatshirt. I walked back down and I wrote a note and left. I got to Anthony's and I walked in. No one was down there so I walked up to Anthony's room. He was sitting there so I sat next to me
M- you need to talk again
A- uhh yeah
M- ok
He was nervous and he looked down
M- should I be scared
He shrugged
M- just tell me
A- when I was over at jakes. He told me that at the end of the year he was moving to Los Angeles. And me and Chance decided to go with.
M- oh ok
A- and I think we should break up—
M- because of distance right
A- yeah I decided to talk to you now because I want to spend the last months with you as friends
M- ok
A- are you ok
M- yeah I understand I guess.
A- we can still go to prom together right
M- of course.
It got awkward so I stood up. I looked down and I saw my ring
M- do you want your ring back
A- no keep it. I didn't break my promise. I still love you
We smiled
M- I should go
A- yeah ok
I turned around and I walked out. I wanted to cry but I couldn't. I drove home and I walked in. My mom was down there with my brother. They looked sad
M- what
Mo- madi your dad had to leave
M- what
My eyes started tearing up
Mo- he had an emergency
M- I didn't get to say goodbye
I fell to my knees and I started crying. My mom started rubbing my back.
Tyler(POV)
I knew Anthony and madi broke up when she came home because he texted me. She was crying on the floor and I texted Anthony to tell him to come and calm her down.
Madi(POV)
I was crying and I felt someone pick me up. T felt like a guy and I noticed it was Anthony. He brought me to my room and he sat down and I was cuddled into him. I ended up falling asleep.

I woke up and I laid there against Anthony. I rubbed my eyes
A- are you ok
M- yeah thank you
A- I'm always here for you
He stood up and I looked at him
A- I should go bye
M- bye
He left and I walked downstairs. My mom and Tyler were sitting there. I went and sat next to them.
M- me and Anthony broke up
Mo- why
M- him, Jake, and Chance are moving to California at the end of the year
Mo- oh are you ok
M- I'll be fine
She rubbed my back.
T- Logan's going to
M- oh
My mom got up to make supper and it got done. We ate and then Sophie came over. We walked upstairs
M- me and Anthony broke up
S- what why
M- he's moving at the end of the year to California with Jake and Chance and Logan.
S- oh
I nodded
M- we're still going to prom together
S- ok that's good.
I nodded.
S- Liam's cute you could date him
M- oh my— i couldn't do that to Anthony right away
We laughed and we talked and then she left. I went downstairs and I let out bailey. I let her back in and walked upstairs and I showered. I changed and laid down. I ended up falling asleep really early.
