(Thorin and Thorn in wolf form above)
(November)
I've been training at the base for two months know. Right now we are shooting with rifles at targets.Me and my team are learning to trust each other, still my whole group is men except me.
We are all humans here, no werewolves at all. Everyone here is mateless (besides me but they'll never know) it's easier and harder at the same time. It's easier because you have no mate to hold you down and stop you from fighting. It's harder because you have no mate to borrow strength from.
I focus hard and zoom in with the scope. I aim then I fire right into the targets head. Then I aim again and shoot the targets heart or at least where a heart should be.
(Five months later. April)
I have grown to trust my team much more. I know trust them with my life and they trust me with theirs. We are now fully trained and ready for deployment. Our deployment is next week. Our team has ten members. Our leader of the group is Luke.
He has the best score on the tests we had to take so he is the leader. I scored second best on the tests. So if something happens to Luke I would take over leading the group.
I've changed over these seven months. They broke me then molded me into someone else. I act more like a soldier. I'm more disciplined I even act more civilized.
I actually act like a guy I think it's because I was raised by dad and there was no females around so I don't know how to act like a girl so I started taking after him. And being with guys around base doesn't help at all.
(Seven days later. Day of deployment)
I started getting dressed, I put a sliver dagger in my boot. I put another silver dagger in my other boot. Then I slipped my knife from my dad into my pocket.Never know when you'll need them. I finish getting on my uniform. I quickly get my dog tags and put then on.
I look in the mirror. All I see is a girl who looks like a boy. Did I forget mention that I have a guys haircut? Well now I have a guys haircut.
The sun was just starting to rise when I exited the building. I walk out to the guys. "You ready for this Nathan?" Koren asked me. "As ready as I'll ever be." I say with a smile.
We all get into the plane and once we are flying I dose off for a little bit but not for too long. Once we stop I open my eyes.
"Nathan come on we have to get off and get into the helicopter." Nick told me. I get up and grab my bag. We all get out then we get into a helicopter there is two so we have to split up.
I don't like leaving them though. There like my brothers. Five of us get into each helicopter. Me, Nick, Koren, Skyler, and Blake get into the closer helicopter. While Luke, Cole, Brantley, Brett, and Eric get into the farther helicopter.
I look out the window and watch as we get higher and higher into the air. We soon where at the base.
We all got out and grabbed out things. I thanked the helicopter pilot before he flew off. There was other people here, more soldiers.
Luke went off to talk to the commanding officer. While me and the boys went to put our stuff in the bunker.
I only packed a few pairs of change of clothes and some more daggers, my pistol, and some ammunition. It wasn't much but it would have to do.
