"Just never mind that." I told Harry, smiling.
"Hey, you're friends today... er..." Harry began saying.
"Oh yeah, they told me. Excuse them, they just don't like seeing me with Michael and they tried to.... you know."
I explained awkwardly, but trust me, I've gotten good at hiding this kind of feeling."Oh, okay." Harry simply answered, with a nervous chuckle.
Oh, if little Ginny was here right now, I think she'd pass out. It sometimes amazes me how much I've changed in the past years.
"Well what are you two waiting for? Come in!" Umbridge suddenly urged us, opening the door. I rolled my eyes way up to the ceiling, not even caring if she noticed.
We both entered and started writing our sentences. "Useless," I murmured after I scribbled each of the orations.
I felt time even go even slower than the last time, and a greater pain too, even though I'd never admit it outloud.
When I was finished with that day's punishment, I quickly grabbed my things, determined to get out of that witch's office as fast as I could.
"Miss Weasley? I'd like to have a word with you." Umbridge called me just when I was mentally singing victory to myself.
I stopped myself from continuing to walk in my direction, and I entered again her pink office, sitting in my same chair. "Yes?" I asked.
"I don't want you close to Potter anymore." Umbridge stated with one of those smiles that make me want to slap her in the whole face.
"Oh, what?" I crossed my arms. "So it isn't enough that we can hardly have a steady relationship with someone because of you, professor, but now we can't even carry a healthy friendship?"
"Of course you can, Miss Weasley. But this is for the good of both of you." Umbridge answered, not loosing her patience. I don't know how someone could tell anyone that and still think they're right.
"Wha-?" I avoided myself from starting to yell, so I took a deep breath, and tried to preserve my dignity. "I don't see how that could benefit me or Harry in any possible way."
"Oh, Miss Weasley, you have so much potential. You're such a clever young girl. I believe you could go far, but Mr. Potter is just a bad influence on you." Umbridge explained sweetly. I hadn't words to express how dumb the whole idea was. "So, I'll retire your punishment, but I don't want to see you two together. I trust you." She finished her explanation.
How could I ever follow that rule? It was stupid, lame, and had no sense whatsoever. "If I see you two together, consequences will be severe." Umbridge added. I questioned to myself if she had just read my mind.
I once again exited that pink room fastly. I had just mentioned I wanted to hurt that fluffy toad badly, but I never meant it as I do now. How could she threaten me that way?! How was that even allowed? And why would she think he's the bad influence? Didn't she ever think it could be purely me?
"What happened?" Harry asked, making me jump a little. I had completely forgotten that he was probably outside waiting for me.
"Nothing, really." I answered, but it didn't take me long to rethink my words. "Actually, yeah, something. I'm afraid my punishment time is over..."
"But Ginny, that's fantastic!" Harry probably thought I was crazy not to be jumping with joy about it.
"It is, sort of. Sorry you'll have to be with her alone..." I smiled sadly. I was conscious on the fact that this might be the last time in a while we talk to each other. As much as I hated Umbridge and her new warning, I just didn't want to figure out what the consequences were, I was thinking in pain, and not only in the hand. "Well, I guess I'll see you around." I said casually, then turned to finally go back to the common room.
Why did it have to be this year? The year that we were finally talking like real friends. The year that I finally stop blushing and getting speechless in his prescence. The time when I finally felt I was confident enough to do anything. Oh, the cruel agony.
I arrived at the common room feeling as though I was on fire, if anyone would've stepped in my way, I would've cursed them without thinking twice. I stomped upstairs powerfully, and when I got into my dormitory, I slammed the door a little too aggressively.
"DANG IT!" Allana jumped from her bed, literally, she jumped like a scared cat.
"Ginny, what happened?" Emily asked looking up from her book, and quickly walking over to me.
I soon began explaining to them what Umbridge had done, allowing myself to quote every stupid word she said to me. If steam could come out of people, I'd be even more dangerous than a hot teapot.
"She can't do this! I mean, what's the problem on you two seeing each other?" Emily questioned, desperately. "She can't forbid friendship!"
"She thinks you're a good model," Allana snorted shaking her head. "But I don't get it, Gin. Why are you listening to her this time?" She crossed her arms.
"Allana, if the minor consequences are writing with a cursed quill that leaves your hand scarred..." Emily began saying. "Can you imagine what that crazy woman is capable of doing if she's saying the consequences may be severe?"

A couple of months passed away and I hadn't talked to Harry in all that time. As I said, I didn't want to figure out the consequences. I woke up in a cold Wendnesday morning, really freezing. Now it was my turn FINALLY to wake Allana and Emily! I decided to wake Allana the most brutal way I could, since she isn't nice on waking me up.
>>>Flashback<<<
"GINNY! GIN! GINGERBREAD! GINGER GINNY!" Allana shouted as she jumped in my bed.
"Allana, it's 6:00 o'clock in the morning, leave me alone!" I told her, covering my head. "Come on! Wake up! Wake up!" Allana insisted. I didn't listen to her, and kept on covering my head. "Oh well then!" Allana exclaimed, as she goes away. "Finally" I sigh. But a second later I felt nasty sparks all over me. "Allana Melanie Lewis!!" I shout as I spring out of bed. Allana was just there, smiling and blowing gently the point of her wand. I'm going to make her pay some day.
>>>end of the flashback<<<
And that wasn't the worst she did, once she pinched me with 10 needles 20 times (that didn't end up well). Let's start nice. I took off her teddy bear from her and pasted it on the ceiling (Allana is so childish). After mixing her hair up, (yeah, she hates knots in her hair) I decided to throw water in her face. Hermione once taught me a spell named aguamenti, so this will be fun. "Aguamenti" I whispered with my wand pointed at Allana's face. A tremendous amount of water shot from my wand tip and ended in Allana's face. "HOLY...." Allana started shouting. "GINEVRA MOLLY WEASLEY! I swear this is your last day of life!" Allana kept on screaming getting up. "Protego!" I yelled. A barrier appeared from my wand tip. "BLOODY HELL! What on earth is going on?!" Emily suddenly squealed, jumping violently off her bed. "Stop!" Emily ordered, getting out her wand and walking near us. She pronounced a spell I didn't even knew and Allana and I were separated by the instant (my protecting charm broke as well). "Blimey, Emily! I didn't knew that charm even existed!" Allana exclaimed, waving her wand for drying her hair and face. "Ally, if you read you'd know about it." Emily said, putting her wand away. I couldn't stop laughing when Allana realise about her teddy (she was jumping like crazy! Unfortunately Emily got it down for her).
After we got ready, we went down to breakfast. "Psst, Ginny." A voice whispered, it was Hermione. "Huh?" I asked. Allana and Emily heard and stuck their heads, too. "We are setting a group of defence, want to be part of it?" Hermione questioned. It took me by surprise, but I couldn't be happier! We are finally defending ourselves! "Of course!" I assured her. "Fetch me in!" Allana added. "Me too!" Emily said. Hermione smiled. "I'll tell you the details later on." Hermione tol us. "Do you really think someone's going to come, Ginny?" Asked Harry, who I hadn't spoke in about 2 or 3 months. "Please, Harry. There are plenty o students that are complaining about the pink fat toad!" I assured him. I got to the conclusion Harry was going to run all of this, so he must be nervous. He smile and walked away. Allana and Emily kept on talking on how happy they were, and I agreed. We're finally progressing, we're finally doing the right thing.
