Chloe's Past

"AHHHHHH!" A woman screamed while in labor. "Sweetie you need to keep pushing. The baby's almost here." A husband tried to soothe his wife of her pain, using his charm speak to make her feel calm. This couple is named Emma and Francois Lacroix.

And their about to have a baby girl.

Time skip

"Sweetie you did it, she's here." Francois said while wiping his wife's forehead with a towel. Emma looked down at her beautiful baby girl that's wrapped in a pink blanket and sighed in happiness. "So, what will you name her?" A nurse asked her with a smile. The couple looked at each other and said at the same time, "Chloe Belle Lacroix."

Time skip five years old

"Mommy mommy look at this pretty lady!" A five year old Chloe said while showing her mother a picture of a girl in a beautiful dress. Emma smiled at her daughter, though it seemed fake and strained, "yes sweetie, she is pretty, now go play with your toys." Chloe sulked and teared up. Ever since her dad died from a horrible accident, her mom hasn't been paying much attention to her.

Emma won't tell Chloe the real reason her father died. That's for another time. But ever since Francois died 2 years ago, finance has not been good with the mother and daughter duo. And Emma has gotten more violent and angry towards Chloe.

Francois was the owner of the biggest car company in France, so Emma never really had a reason to work. It's not that she didn't want to, it's just that whenever she said she wanted to get a job, Francois always said, "sweetie, you don't need a job. I can pay the rent and anything else you and the baby need as long as I live."

Life was going fine for the Lacroix family... until IT happened. Francois was shot in the head by a bounty hunter from America. Apparently he owed a lot of money to a certain man but refused to pay. He never told his wife that he was being targeted. He didn't want her to worry. But he didn't know the consequences of his actions.

Time skip 10 years old

"But mommy I don't want to go!" A ten year old Chloe cried, desperately trying to get out of her mothers hold. Emma is making her child go to a child model facility. When Chloe mentioned how pretty the girl was in the magazine at five years old, Emma decided to wait a little longer to make her child a model. They needed money soon, or else they will be kicked out of their fair sized house.

"Chloe this is for your own good. Don't you want to stay in our house?" Emma asked, slapping her daughter on the cheek, leaving a red mark on Chloe's cheek, "w-well yeah, I g-guess." Chloe whimpered, holding her cheek tearing up while they walked into the building. Emma smirked, "good, now let's go."

Time skip 16 years old

It's been 6 years since Chloe's mother forced her to model. Every second, minute, hour and day was like living hell. Her agent, Fabio, forced her to stop eating a lot of food and had her work out 24/7 with little to no sleep. He put her on a strict diet of only fruits and water. It never filled Chloe's stomach and she always starved at night.

When she was a child model, they had her wear cute dresses and bows and flats. But now that she's older and more popular in France, Fabio is making her wear more revealing clothing. And her mother doesn't care, as long as it brings in the money.

Fabio's 'treatment' has made Chloe sick. You could see her ribs from the intense workouts and little to no food. She was sick of it, as soon as she was old enough, she swore she would get out of this mess.

Time skip 18 years old

Another two years has passed and things have only gotten worse. Emma has gotten mad with power and using her daughter. The abuse has gotten worse from when she was 10. When Chloe was 17, she figured out she had a special power from her father.

Charm speak.

She never meant to use it, she was just really mad at Fabio for making her basically wear nothing for her photo shoot, she charm spoke him and he killed himself. Chloe thought she could trust her mother with this secret but she was wrong. When Emma heard her daughter inherited her late husbands power and killed someone, she went on a rampage. She called the police and had her arrested.

Emma thought Chloe was a menace to society. All she wanted was to use her daughter for her own benefit, she did not want a criminal living with her. Even if it is her own daughter.

"Mom what are you doing!?" Chloe screamed while looking at her mother with wide and scared eyes. The police officer grabbed her harshly by the neck and pushed her into a cop car, taking her to prison. Chloe thought her mother loved her, she thought she cared about her. Even through all of the abuse, Chloe always thought her mother cared for her a little.

But no.

"Why would you think I would ever love you. The only person I loved was your father but he's gone! You were only a reminder of him and it hurt me everyday! Then you killed Fabio! You deserve this you freak of nature, I never want to see you again! Police, take this nuisance out of my face." Emma told her daughter the harsh truth.

"S-so you never loved me?" Chloe whimpered. Emma smirked and shook her head, "why would I love a slut with freakish powers."

That's the line that broke Chloe for life.

So from that moment on, Chloe's heart became frozen. She never loved again, never cared about anyone's feelings towards her. Unless if for her own benefit. She always used her new found power for her own greed. Weather it be for new cars, shoes, money or make up, it was always free and she never felt bad.

She thought love was just a four letter word that meant nothing. She always said it to guys who loved her just so it could make them feel good. But it never works on her. Chloe thought if she said she loves someone, she'll forget about all the pain her mother caused her.

About not telling her how her father died. Or the real reason she made her a model. She thought saying, "I love you," will make her forget about all her problems and make her feel something other than greed and lust. But it never did. All because of Emma Lacroix.

Time skip 19 years old

"It's finally here." Chloe whispered under her breath in her cell. She was currently in prison in China. This was her 20th prison in one year. When her mother called the police on her in France when she was 18, she escaped 3 days later. On her birthday, November 30th (Authors Note: my birthday 😜)

She's been escaping prisons left and right for a year. She loved the rush of escaping. When she escaped prisons, she always wandered the streets looking for boys. Since her father died and her mother not paying attention to her, Chloe's never felt love. So she looks on the streets and bars for hook ups.

All she's felt was lust and anger for about 5 years of her life. She didn't know how to love. (Authors Note: past Chloe was basically the female version of Laito from Diabolik Lovers. All she knew was lust and revenge.)

But when she was put in Nanba Prison, she actually felt loved. It may have took awhile, but her four inmate friends really tried hard to break her cold heart. Yes she does flirt... a lot... more than Honey and Trois. But Nanba Prison is more of a home then her last. And she'll do anything to protect it and her loved ones.

No matter the cause.
