"You better let me down from here or you're gonna die!" A voice shouted, "in three minutes!"
She struggled against the strong tube door. Her fists banged against it. Shortly, the young girl was joined by the person who kidnapped her.
"Sorry," the woman retorted, "I can't let you go until I'm done with you."
"You can't get anything out of me you idiot!" The girl shouted, "it's impossible."
"How so?" The woman asked.
"Did you get anything yet?" The girl questioned in return.
The woman went silent.
"Exactly," the girl smugly stated, "look lady. I don't know who the hell you are or why you're so crazy, but I'll make myself very clear. I'm talking to you as nicely as I can, let me down or you're gonna become the first headless human."
The woman chuckled in amusement.
"So feisty," she responded, "tearing you from the inside out will be fun."
With that, she left and closed the door. Trying to bust out yet again, the young girl hit the tube door. She failed yet again to escape. This felt embarrassing, mainly due to the fact that she could've easily gotten out if the trap wasn't so difficult to get out of. Groaning in frustration, she leaned back and sighed, hoping that one of her friends would bust her out.

We got to the robot in no time. After making sure we weren't followed, Ryan summoned the foot of the machine so we could go inside. The elevator ride up took only seconds to reach the top. We all stepped out and saw that Leo was in the lounge. Spyder was sitting on the couch. I sat on his left while Veracity sat in between us. Mark stood next to Leo and Ryan leaned up against the wall.
"Ok," Leo started, "I picked up a trace on the radar. Turns out, two more technopaths are somewhere on the map."
"Dang, just when I try to feel special," Ryan commented, "this technopathy thing is spreading like a virus. How did you fail on the test subjects yet all these other people are getting this ability?"
"You tell me," Leo retorted, "it's like it fails and then successfully works in its own way."
"This is why you test stuff first." Veracity mumbled.
I caught that. She makes a valid point. Before Leo could say so to that, we heard footsteps running inside. Me, along with the others, turned our heads to see that Mackenzie had joined us.
"Guys," she said, "two technopaths are being held captive by some crazy chick. And both of them are my friends."
"Yes I was getting to that," Leo responded, "way to steal my moment."
Kenzie walked in front of us.
"She's trying to drain their powers so she can use them for something." She informed.
"Uh huh," Leo quickly said after to make the attention shift back to him, "and that crazy woman tried to use Ryan for the same thing and it was making him sick."
"What?!" Mack reacted in worry and shock, "how are you not dead?!"
Ryan gave her a smile.
