Spyder Johnson:
We all grabbed any weapons that were inside the robot. Naturally, I took a blaster that we used to try and de-ooze Tregear with. Harris took one of the shock sticks. I saw Veracity carrying some electro disk thingies. They're not gravity pucks, so I don't know what they're called. Leo said he would be grabbing a grappling hook. Again, don't know why but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
"Oh yeah baby," I said with excitement, "been waiting to use this thing again."
"You're telling me," V agreed, "kicking butt is what I love to do."
"And how you handled Harris last time, you do it well." I complimented her.
I watched her shuffle her feet and look to the floor for a second, something I never saw her do before.
"Yeah well," she replied, "my dads taught me self defense."
"I can tell," I spoke, "you...you really know what you're doing."
"Oh uh...thanks." Veracity retorted.
"You're welcome." I said.
She smiled at me before turning and walking away quickly. Huh, I didn't see her do that since the time someone brought my socks from home into the robot. Everybody cleared out that day. That's for another time though. Hmm, maybe she likes me. Nah...well...nah there's no way. But what if she does? Oh geez, now she's in my head again.
"Spyder!" I heard.
I turned back around and saw Harris fully loaded and ready to go. He had the same weapon I had.
"Ready?" He asked me.
"Shoosh yeah I'm ready." I responded in confidence.
"Me too!" I could hear Mark call.
"Me too!" Mack followed up with her suit on.
It was a slick black outfit, with high top sneakers to match. Her hair was up in a long tail. Her cut off gloves left her fingers free. I could see fresh lip gloss in her lips as well. Paying homage to someone I see.
"Dang Kenzie," Veracity said as she joined us again, "you just had that with you?"
"Nope," Mack replied, "I was wearing it the whole time under my jacket. This thing keeps me so warm it's a beach in December."
I nodded since it was pretty cool. I looked over at Harris, who wasn't trying to drool over that outfit. I chuckled, preparing myself to tease him later for it.
"Alright let's go!" Leo yelled.
"I'm ready!" I heard Ryan shout after that.
Turning to my left, my ears heard Kenzie gasp. I saw that one of my best friends was holding a sword. I guess Mack didn't like that too much. She ran up and snatched it away from him.
"What?" Ry asked.
"Not my sword," Mackenzie didn't allow, "this is for guardians only. You're lucky we're related."
Ryan put his hands up in surrender.
"What are you bringing now?" Mark inquired.
"My powers," Ryan retorted as he walked past him, "it'll be more fun to blow stuff up anyway."
"Now you're speaking my language." I agreed with him.
He smirked back at me as we all headed out.

It was as if she was a tracking genius. Getting ahold of one of her friends was the best thing right now. What shocked her was why she didn't think of it in the first place. Guess the whole being trapped by a lady who's trying to suck all of your power and life out of you can be distracting.
"Finally!" She heard from outside of her room, "after all this time, I'll finally be able to be free and go back to the outside world. I could have kids or get a job and live in New York City! Oh it'll be a blast!"
And that was when the girl began to consider her feelings. She's been hidden front the world due to her illness. While everyone is just living their daily lives, she has to struggle to survive. Pray she lives another day. Find ways to keep herself going. No wonder she went all crazy.
"Now," she went on to say, "let's hope these girls don't disappoint me."
And that was the reason why she had trouble with feeling sorry for her.
