Chapter 1

Emily's pov:

I woke up to the sound of my mom screaming at me from downstairs, "Emily, breakfast is ready, quickly get ready and come eat you are going to be late for the bus. I can't take you today if you are late I've got to go fetch your sister from the airport!"

it was the last week of school and Demi was coming to spend the entire summer with us! I'm really excited well kinda, I mean I love her so much she's the best but its really hard to hide my problems away from her.

I don't even know how I'm going to hide it for that long without her getting suspicious.

I got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom, I was brushing my teeth and I saw my blade on the basin from last night.

My demons were taunting me "cut, you deserve it you fat, worthless cow. No one loves you, Demi will want to go as soon as she sees how much weight you've gained. Everyone hates you but we love you, we are your only friends....so cut now, just one and we might be quiet for a while!"

I lifted up my sleeve and made 7 cuts on my arm, not deep, just enough to feel the sting! I put my clothes on, (including a hoodie to cover up my cuts and scars) brushed my hair and went downstairs.

I was absolutely disgusted with the sight! My mom cooked bacon, sausage, toast and scrambled egg.

My mom interrupted my thoughts, "what's wrong, honey? You look a little pale"

I thought of an excuse so I wouldn't have to eat, "umm...I'm feeling a little sick, I don't think I should eat now, I'm not that hungry anyway so it's fine"

"okay honey, I will see u after school, Maddie won't take the bus with you today"

"why, where is she anyways? I haven't seen her since yesterday morning."

"She slept over at Bea's house, so they will go together. Demi will fetch you both from school and then later your father, Dallas, demi, Maddie, u and I will go out for dinner"

"Yay!!!" but inside I was cringing because I couldn't eat I would just get fatter! "I can't wait to see Dems I miss her so much! But right now I really have to go, I'm gonna miss the bus" and with that I kissed my mom on the cheek and walked out the front door

I got into the bus and scanned around for my best friend, Jade, she shouted my name and stuck her hand up to get my attention

"hey Ems, are you okay? You didn't reply to any of my texts lastnight"

"yeah sorry, had a rough night, I haven't been on my phone since yesterday afternoon"

"it's alright, I was just worried"

No she was not, why would she be worried she doesn't care about you

Who would care about you? Let us answer that for you....no one! I mean you are disgusting, fat, worthless and stupid. People only pretend to like you because they want to meet Demi.

"Ems? Are u okay? Hello?

"yeah sorry I was just thinking"

We arrived at school and made our ways to our locker, jade had to speak to a teacher so I walked alone.

I almost reached my locker when I was showed against the wall. I looked at the person holding me up, It was Jennifer with her 2 twats behind her.

She suddenly punched in the face, as I fell to the floor I could feel my mouth and nose were bleeding. Then as I looked up she kicked my in the stomach, I groaned in pain.

"shut up you weak fat ass" she said as she slapped me across my face, ouch it was stinging so much, there was probably a red hand print on my cheek...

She walked away zapping me and saying, "just go kill yourself already, no one likes you anyway"

I got up and walked to my locker, fetched my books and went to my first class which was maths...yay how fun!

The bell for lunch went and everyone made their way to the cafeteria. I didn't get any food I just walked up to the table Jade and my other friends were sitting at and I sat down

"OMG EMILY! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU EYE AND CHEEK"

"that bitch Jennifer beat me up again....no biggie"

" 'no biggie', Ems its already bruising"

"shit really!? I have a extra makeup bag in my locker for emergencies I'll quickly try and cover it up. The last thing I need is Demi finding out"

"okay Ems, see u after school"

I rushed to the bathrooms and quickly covered up the bruises I just really hope it doesn't bruise more because it'll be to dark to cover up

The bell rang for 8 period and I ran out of the bathroom in a hurry before the halls got crowded

The bell for the end of the day rang, Jade and I had our last lesson together so we walked to our lockers

"so Ems what are you doing on Friday, maybe we can have a sleepover?"

"umm...not too sure but I'm sure I can"

My phone buzzed and I got a text from Dems:

DEMI:

Heyy babygirl I'm parked in the parking lot, im driving my white SUV just so you know what to look for! Can't wait to see you xx

I replied quickly after I shut my locker door and started walking with Jade to the parking lot.

ME:

Hey Dems I can't wait to see you too...just finished packing my locker so I'm on my way. See you soon xx

As we got to the parking lot I hugged Jade goodbye and started running towards the white SUV parked on the far side of the parking lot.

So I know this chapter is really short, boring and crappy. But I promise you guys it will get better I will try update like every week minimum.
