I got home from work about 30 minutes ago. I just got out of the shower and changed into some comfortable clothes. I decided I would play some Xbox before going to bed. Normally I would play with my brother but I figured he would be asleep by now so I'm stuck playing with a random person.

After about 2 weeks of playing with my brother he convinced me to get a mic so we would be able to communicate easier. That was about a month ago and now I use my mic no matter what, just because I'm used to it and it makes things easier.

As I was put into the lobby of the game I noticed the person I was paired with either didn't have a mic or wasn't using it. "Hey, can you hear me?" I spoke and waited for them to type their answer. 'Yes' they replied. "Okay, do you have a mic?" I asked, once again waiting for a message to appear. 'No' they answered. "Okay I guess I'll be the leader than, since I can quickly communicate." I sighed as the game started.

We worked well as a team. Or I just had good leadership skills. We ended up winning that game and we're out back into the lobby again. I didn't say anything because I was waiting to see if they were going to leave. 'Again? We work well together' I read. "Yeah, lets go again." I quickly replied, wanting to get to the game.

We played multiple games together with little conversion in between. "I have to get to bed so I'm not late for work but I really enjoy playing with you." I spoke after our fourth win of the night. 'Me too, same time tomorrow?' I laughed at how straight forward this person was. I realized I don't even know their gender. "Sure, but only if you work on getting a mic." I replied smiling. 'I can't make any promises but I'll try'

I turned off my TV and cuddled into bed. I loved winter because it always makes your bed ten times more welcoming. I checked to make sure my alarms for the morning were set before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

A/N: this was short but I just wanted to get them meeting out of the way. Also, I don't know much about video games so if that side of things don't make sense that is why.
