Brook's POV:

It's been two days since Luke sent me that message and he hasn't been online since. I understand that he's busy but he could at least let me know how he's doing. I don't know if he's still in school or if he has a job. I'm probably overthinking all of this and he doesn't even want a friendship, just someone to play games with. I only have one very close friends so I'm surprised I got attached to Luke so quickly. I'm okay with having lots of alone time.

Its currently 11:30 pm and I'm about to go to bed. I tell my brother that this is going to be my last game before I get off. As we were saying our goodbyes I got a notification saying Luke was online and then I got a message from him. I sighed before going to check it.

Cheesetoastie11: Hey, sorry I've been MIA. I haven't been home since I sent you that last message. I hope you haven't forgot about me bc I definitely haven't forgotten about you. In fact, all I could think about while I was gone was you. If that's creepy pretend I didn't say it.

     Any negative thoughts I had about Luke disappeared after that message.

Brookrae: sorry, I don't remember ever talking to you.

     I laughed at my joke even though it wasn't funny at all. Luke just put me in a good mood.

Cheesetoastie11: I'm hurt. Maybe we could try texting so this won't happen again?

Brookrae: sure, what's your number?

Cheesetoastie11: xxxxxxxxxx

     I guess Luke did want to be friends since he wants to be able to talk more.
