It's been a few weeks, and me and Jody have been growing really close together. She's really nice and all. Jody's also told me that her life was just like me, because she was forced to move to a new high school last year, causing her to be the new girl, and got teased, like me.

I thought our friendship would never grow apart.

But it did.

It was one late afternoon.. I was waiting for Jody by the gates. The buses were ready to leave, and she wasn't even here yet.

I waited for nearly an hour. The buses were gone, but I didn't really care. All I cared about was Jody.

Then it happened. At 3:35pm. In school. I heard somebody scream somewhere near the parking lot.

"There's a dead body!"

I stood up, and looked at the girl who screamed. I ran towards her. "Where?" I asked.

She pointed at one of the cars, and I walked towards it. She tagged along behind me.

The dead girl had blonde hair, and her face was on the broken car front window. Millions of tiny pieces of glass were everywhere. And her blood was dripping down her face, and down the car window.

And then I noticed something similar on her wrist.

I looked at the bracelet on my hand. It had 'Lyla' written on it. Then I looked at the bracelet on her hand.

It had 'Jody' written on it.

I cupped my hands over my mouth, covering my dripping tears. My best friend Jody was on the car. My best friend Jody had blood dripping down her face.

My best friend Jody..

Was gone.

I started to cry immediately. I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around to see the school principal, Ms. Kate, staring at everything with her jaw dropped.

Then she gently pulled me away from Jody.

I didn't want to leave her alone there.

"Don't worry, I'm calling the police," Ms. Kate comforted me. I nodded. Then I ran away to the nearest toilet, washed my face and stared at myself in the mirror.

I felt so alone.
