“Oh well hello there, come closer sweetheart. I'll show you around in this chaos.” A deep and scary voice said. There was no face to be seen. It was just the voice and the voice alone in a patch of complete darkness.

“Please mind your step, you don't want to get stuck in an unexpected trap.

Chaos has been here for over centuries and no one ever succeeded in clearing it up. People started to develop their own kind of surviving in it. You either win or lose the game this chaos is playing. There's no in between.

But oh, well, this chaos has beauty in it. Don't you think? It's like a piece of beautiful art, however the chaos changes. Everything an individual does changes everything.

And now I'm here to give you some advice I recommend you to follow. Do not let the chaos get to you. It's able to damage far more than you can ever imagine.”

I woke up with a shock. My body was covered in sweat and my bedsheets were all over the place. I slowly moved a bit backwards, so I could sit with my back against the bedroom wall.

As I tried to get up I noticed that I clinged my nails into the mattress, while the rest of my body was shaking uncontrollably.

After a solid 15 minutes I got myself back together from the shock. My hand slowly moved over the bedside table, looking for my phone. When I finally found it I turned on the screen and looked at the time.

4.27am

Only a few hours left before I had to get ready for school. If I went back to sleep now I would wake up too late and I wasn't in the mood to get detention. Again.

I lifted up my feet and slowly placed them on the soft black carpet on my bedroom floor. I moved forward towards the bathroom, which was connected to my room.

I pushed open the door and entered the bathroom. A shiver went down my spine by the feeling of my feet touching the cold bathroom floor. I let water run out of the faucet and splashed some in my face, hoping that I would forget the nightmare.

But that didn't happen… My mind kept going back to the faceless voice in the darkness.
