Etho’s POV
I was on my way to Seth’s room when I saw Doc.
“Hey Doc.”
“Hey Etho.”
I walk towards Seth’s room.
“Whoa, you can’t go in there.”
“Why not?”
“Because he’s in critical condition.”
“Wait, what?”
“We found out that he has blood poisoning. At the level his vitals are, it’s almost certain he’ll go back into a coma, but it’s still possible for him to die.”
I started panicking. “Is there anything you can do about it?”
“Yes, but we’re afraid that the procedure might kill him.”
“Do it anyways.”
~~~After the Procedure~~~
“He survived, but he’s on the edge of dying.”
I run into the room. “Seth, are you alright?
“Yeah, I just feel sleepy.”
I decide to wait next to his bed. When I woke up, the room was full. Doctors were running around and taking notes.
“Heartbeat’s dropping.”
“Checking blood pressure.”
“What’s going on!?”
“Seth’s not going to make it. We’ll leave you two alone.”
“Seth, please don’t leave me. I love you.”
“Really?” He smiled. “I may not know you, but I feel the same way. I may not be with you, but I’ll always be by your side.”
The line went flat.
Nebris’s POV
I only meant for him to go back into a coma. I never wanted to kill him. I must have messed up with the coding.
